I can’t say I’m surprised, especially with Obama’s portrait but still… Trump’s vindictive petulance has led to him having moved the official portraits of Obama, and Bush 41 and 43 to a private stairwell. In other words a place where visitors to the White House can’t see them.
This is really ridiculous. However as The Independent is reporting Trump’s ego is so fragile he’s hiding away reminders of predecessors that were far better (even Baby Bush is superior, at least compared to Trump) than he could hope to be. Look for Clinton’s portrait to get moved too and forget about Biden’s ever being unveiled and displayed as long as Trump rules the roost. Now that I think of it “roost” is the right turn of phrase because TACO Trump is shuffling around covering the White House in chickesh*t. This is a pretty big load. Protocol is that Presidential Portraits get displayed at the entrance lobbies where visitors can see them. Makes sense to me.
However Trump thinks everything should be about him and no doubt is offended any depiction of former Presidents exists. At least where visitors to the White House can see them. Would anyone be surprised if before long all former Presidents will have their portraits replaced with doctored images (to make him look physically “buff” and/or heroic). He does after all have that collection of ridiculous trading cards. Anyway, he’s at least gotten started on this spiteful project.
President Donald Trump directed staff to move Obama’s White House portrait to the top of the Grand Staircase, CNN reports, citing sources familiar with the move. The Grand Staircase leads up to the residence, an area that is restricted to the president’s family, Secret Service and select staff.
As a result, visitors can’t see the portrait, according to CNN.
Portraits of former President George. W. Bush and his father, former President George H.W. Bush, were also moved to the staircase area, the outlet reports.
The linked article also tells us something we already knew. It reports sources told CNN Trump “is often involved in aesthetic changes at the White House. ” Gee, ya think? He’s been redecorating like crazy since the day he moved back in. Conservative nut-jobs who worry about the gold in Fort Knox are probably looking at all the new gold stuff and the seeming gilding of every surface and thinking by the time Trump’s done there won’t be an ounce of gold left at Ft. Knox.
Anyway, you’d think that with all he’s got going on Trump would have better things to do. Then again, with Epstein cratering his Presidency the three predecessors all having something in common. Care to guess what? All of them only had ONE wife and there’s no credible allegation of any of them ever cheating on their wives! Trump of course stands in stark contrast to that. Perhaps he doesn’t want visitors to the White House to see recent Presidents and think ‘I keep hearing about all this Epstein stuff and Trump IS a well known pussy grabber and outright cheater on all three wives. But he (Obama) and he (Baby Bush) and he (Poppy Bush) were all solid family men.
That’s NOT the kind of thing Trump wants popping into people’s heads. Maybe that’s why Clinton is still on display – he had a roving eye and cheated on Hillary so on that measure Trump doesn’t look as bad in comparison! Oh well. It’s another instance of Trumpiness in an ever growing cesspool.

But, everyone knows he was cheating on Ivana with Marla and then paid prostitutes while married to Current Trophy Wife (even after CTW had given birth just months earlier).

A consummation to be devoutly wish’d but probably way off beam.
Agreed re Biden’s portrait but, in due course, there will have to be a Gilt Trump portrait. Should be hung in the WH toilet (a) appropriate place (b) scare the sh**s outof users, saving $$ on laxatives.
