Desperation takes many forms. Donald Trump is freaking out right now. Rick Wilson says on Twitter/X: “I promise you, Trump is watching this rally and throwing shit against the wall, absolutely losing his fucking mind. He hates how good she’s getting. He hates that the audience looks like America instead of a convention of inbred catalytic-converter thieves.” I’m sure he’s right. Kamala and Tim are getting all the attention. So what’s a Loser to do? This.

Why is Trump doing this? My best guess is that he’s looking for the youth vote and he thinks that this will do it. Why he thinks that, maybe his psychologist niece can opine. But there seems to be a pattern here. Trump was dancing outside Mar-a-Lago and that was for the purpose of appearing to be a “cool dude.” The guy he was dancing with (yes, guy) is a brainless influencer and Trump characterized their gyrations as the “largest stream in history.” Trump knows that’s idiocy. He got tons of publicity when he was killing people from COVID, for example, and any one of those news streams eclipsed what happened yesterday. Trump is a worn out old man, which a lot of people are at 78. Maybe I’ll be that way at 78. You can’t know until you get there.
I don’t know why he’s focusing on Kamala’s laugh. Nobody finds it offensive. He’s reaching. Kamala is connecting with people in a manner that Hillary never did. I mean no disrespect to Hillary. Bill could connect the way that Kamala connects. Obama connected in that way. I never saw or perhaps I should say never felt, Hillary connect that way. And I mention that, because this is what is freaking Trump out of what’s left of his mind. He feels Kamala connecting and Tim Walz is connecting at the molecular level. This guy is a star. J.D. Vance is a liability to Trump, but Kamala has a star as her wingman. Here, compare and contrast.

It’s not going to get better, Donald. Oh, and here’s a comical note to end on: Junior says that Kellyanne Conway being a foreign agent for a Ukrainian billionaire is a “little too swampy” for him. Isn’t that interesting? I wonder who’s going to rescue the Trump campaign then? Hmmm?
There are rumors circulating that he really has broken down and is unfit to continue. This is going to get a whole lot weirder in the coming days and weeks.
the question is, what if the rumors are true? what does the party do? Run Vance at the top of the ticket because nobody else has ballot and fundraising access, same sich as with Kamala? but Vance is not a rock star like Kamala, he will tank the party to somewhere in the Marianas Trench.

This reminds me of when Arsenio Hall came to late night. All the “old timers “ were scared to death. His audience was full with young people screaming,yelling having a great time, the kids flocked to him. Kamala is the new Arsenio of politics. People are screaming, yelling and the young people are flocking to her like crazy. And I think it’s going to get stronger. She should say I saw a clip of trump dancing and the first thing I want to do is challenge him to a dance contest. Wouldn’t that be a hoot?
