Listening to the GOP standard bearer out in public today is interesting. When he was delivering his spiel on abortion Tuesday from his dimly lit closet production studio, he did not sound convinced or convincing. Now, today, he’s in Atlanta for a rally and he looks and sounds desperate. Trump’s mind isn’t on this. This is one of the few rallies he’s able to squeeze in before he’s stuck in court four days a week for the next six to eight weeks and he dreads it. He absolutely, positively dreads what lies just ahead and you can see it in his face and hear it in his voice.

He has no idea how to answer the question. This is all one gigantic deflection. He knows that he stepped into this particular pile of doo doo and he’s waist deep. Everybody hates him for this. He has managed to enrage Republicans. Even Lindsey Graham risked the wrath of his master by calling him out on this. Trump has himself boxed in, in a lose-lose position. And you can see that he knows it. He has no idea how he’s going to wriggle out of this one. Where is Chris LaCivita? Trump needs somebody in his campaign to devise an exit from this blooper. This is bad.
Want to know how bad? Members of the Xian far-right are deserting him.
Four years later and no miracle. He hasn’t gone away. He’s exhausting.
He is a sick and sorry old man and nature will do what is necessary. It is only a matter of time which hopefully will be shortened by his unhealthy lifestyle…or prison perhaps.
