You begin to wonder after a while if Trump twists these things in an effort to fool the rest of us or if he twists them because on some level he really tricks himself into believing that what he heard actually took place. That’s the bizarre part. Trump did not win the Nobel Peace Prize — which he assuredly would have if he had been true to his central campaign promise of ending the Ukraine/Russia conflict in one day. In fact, Hillary Clinton said she herself would nominate him for the prize if he would just get the job done. But he didn’t, except in his fantasies. And here’s his newest fantasy.

Here’s a version of the facts that sounds a lot more plausible.
The person doing the post identifies as a CNN analyst. I don’t blame the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize for playing nice nice with Trump. He’s a madman and we humor madmen so that they don’t get any crazier than they already are.
But of course, Donald has to believe that he’s the center of the universe and deserves all that he gets, and deserves even more all that he does not get.
And let’s look at it this way: at least Trump didn’t go off on a rant about how the prize was stolen from him. I’m surprised at that. He could raise money off it, like he did his stolen or stollen election. Maybe he’ll finally decide to do it that way. Give him time. He doesn’t think as fast as he used to.
I would hope Ms Machado remembers that Drumpf ordered the outright MURDER of *her* fellow citizens with absolutely NO proof of his claims for killing them. I would imagine many of her supporters might not care for Maduro (and wouldn’t lose sleep if he suddenly became unalive) but I also doubt they supported Drumpf’s murdering people (and does anyone know who the victims of Drumpf’s ordered assassination were–have any Venezuelan families reported *unexpected* missing family members in the past couple of months?). Even if (and this is a BIG “if”) the victims were hardcore cartel members, they still had families who loved and cared for them and would still want to know their fates and I imagine Ms Machado would find those families unlikely to retain whatever support for HER and her mission if she REALLY accepted any “support” from Drumpf.
Every goddamn time you kiss the ring of a murdering fascist pig…you ENCOURAGE AND LEGITIMIZE HIM. Maybe Zelensky was a better pick. At least he fights instead of cutting and runnin. They made the exact same mistake with Hitler. Kissing his ass won’t save you or your country lady.
