Donald Trump is attempting to blow minds, as usual, as he once again pushes his vigilante justice views, this time with respect to his impending indictment in Manhattan. And apparently he’s inflaming the passions and limited imaginations of his followers in doing so. They are opening their wallets wide. Trump made $1.5 million dollars over this past weekend, after he went bonkers on his Truth Social site talking about his Tuesday arrest — which never happened and which he had no information would happen. He was speculating like everybody else.

The fact that Trump can make money like that warms the cockles of the GOP’s two-sizes-too-small heart. They love nothing more than a money maker, especially one who can do the racist dog whistle at the volume of an air raid siren and get away with it.

And then there’s owning the libs. Which I guess is what you could call this. But before you make that judgement, January 6 did take place and Keith Olbermann is not wrong when he says that Trump is channeling that same demented vibe.

There are a number of elements which are taking place right now. Trump is more unhinged than usual because of all of the simultaneous lawsuits going on, in Manhattan, with the New York attorney general, with Georgia, with the E. Jean Carroll rape trial, and don’t forget the one in the shadows, Trump has to possibly go to court over Truth Social and explain its house of mirrors finances.

Any one of these scandals would be enough to end the political career of a normal politician but Trump is neither normal nor a politician.

Speaking to CNN on Sunday, Trump’s lawyer Alina Habba was asked if Trump intends to go peacefully. She instead claimed that Trump isn’t one to “hide under the covers.” The implication could be that he does not intend to go peacefully, to quote Raw Story.

Plus, don’t forget this. Trump said he was being arrested on Tuesday and he just pulled that date from a hat. He did it because he was trying to a) raise money, b) get his MAGAs to protest and put pressure on the DA’s office. This is vigilantism. Trump’s taking the law into his own hands. At least these folks think so.

The man is not in his right mind. Again, and always, we have to look to his Republican enablers to get the answer on why he has been allowed to publicly go nuts like this. He would not be able to do this without their complicity, at the very least, and active assistance at the very most. That’s the real problem, not Donald Trump. It’s the GOP.

America is at its worst stage since the Civil War and possibly ever.

  1. And then Junior’s squeeze Kimberly goes on one of the RW networks and talks about how sources in Bragg’s office said this that and the other…and you know they wouldn’t talk to her.

  2. It’s been the GOP since Ike was laid to rest. They just have lost their stealth since they backed the carnival barker.
