Remember in 1966, 73-year-old Chairman Mao Tse-Tung plunged into the Yangtze River and led a reported 5,000 adoring followers in Wuhan’s annual swim? And he swam nine miles an hour and even taught some young girl the backstroke while he was at it? And then later on it was found to be propaganda and he didn’t do it? What Trump is up to now is ringing the same kind of bells.
It does seem odd that he is playing with all these legendary pro golfers, but not one of them even has a ball on the green, while Trump has a hole-in-one. Amazing!

It’s Chairman Don time, folks. That’s my take on it. If anybody here plays golf, please let us know. And remember: if Donnie believes he hit a hole-in-one then that’s that, reality doesn’t matter.
Two things jump out: 1) anytime Trump claims something is 100% true, you know it’s 100% false; 2) after playing golf the equivalent of a year in office, he should be better than average. Fake news. It’s not a fact, it’s an alternative fact. Right Kelly Anne?
Wow, I can’t get past the gut on the first photo. If, as one golf commentator said, boobs get in the way of your swing, surely that gut has to affect one’s swing. I can’t believe MAGAts can see that pic and think “what a man”.
I normally try not to comment on one’s physical appearance, but since trumplethinskin has no such concerns, it’s all fair game.
Is there a rule that he has to wear white? Seriously, I don’t want to see his Depends or his gut!

Up until 20-25 years ago when I was quite fit and strong as well as flexible with a good golf swing (before I fucked up and changed it) a 180 yard shot would have taken a good, solid strike with a FOUR iron (one club greater or in terms you can understand less loft and therefore more distance) AND unlike Trump who lies about being 6’3″ I grew to be a legitimate 6’4″. High school general athlete and college (JUCO) basketball player. Marine infantryman. Basically more athletic than Trump ever was on his best day. So a five iron into the wind, much less a stiff wind is complete and utter bullshit.
Here’s a couple of other things, one of which has already been noted. He had accomplished golfers in his group including one who is retired now but could do ok on the Senior Tour and Ernie Els would be there on most people’s list of the top twenty golfers of all time. For those people, given today’s equipment advances and the balls they now get away with using that distance would be a seven or eight iron. The need to dial back on golf ball distance gets too far into the weeds but the point is that NONE of them had a ball on the green. But there was something else missing in that video. SPECTATORS!
So I call bullshit. For his playing partners what are they going to do? Call Trump out for the fucking liar he is? There lives would change for the worse within 24 hours and become a living hell. Even Els, who with his wife started an amazing program for autistic children down there in FL with their own money would suffer. Worse, so would all those people they help because Trump savaging Els would dry up donations. He truly is a piece of shit. Even if they love their fucking tax cuts, why would any golfer put themselves in a position of being exploited by Trump in this manner. If they had any sense they’d be all set up with a set of excuses from which to pick if he called them to join him for a round.
They may be going along to get along. It may be easier to indulge Trump’s ego than to oppose him. As you say, there could be repercussions, and why risk it?

The other players would have had to go along with his claim or they wouldn’t play at any of his courses again.
The same applies to anyone daring to beat him.
Impressive maybe, but didn’t Kim Jung Il golf 18 holes-in-one his FIRST TIME golfing.
Of course, it was also said he had no anus, whereas Donnie is 100% anus!
A con man can fool some of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time. Not even the biggest con of all.
