If this is any indication of how the second Traitor Tot administration is going to go, then former President Barack Obama might have been wrong. He’s right about this, We’ve already seen this movie before, but in this case, it may be the rare occasion where the sequel is actually better than the original. Especially when it comes to stupidity and futility.

For starters, the 2025 House GOP is going to open with one fewer seat in their majority than planned, no matter how the remaining races break. With Gaetz already gone, the seat will be open until at least sometime in February or March. So at best, the GOP will open with almost an identical majority to their 2023 when they had a clown car circus just electing a House Speaker, and couldn’t even rename post offices.

The problem will be the same as it was in 2023, The Freedom Caucus. If the GOP House Majority isn’t larger than the total of the Freedom Caucus, they’re going to need Democratic help to get anything done, for the simple reason that these performance artists live for distraction and disruption, no matter who the President is. And His Lowness isn’t going to be able to rein them in, because they don’t answer to him, they answer to their constituents and donors.

And the same thing is going to be true with the US Senate. It doesn’t really matter who the Senate Majority Leader is to one extent. And that’s because no matter what the Senate MAGAt’s may try, with only a 4-5 seat majority, the McConnell led moderate wing has plenty of members to join with Democrats to block the insanity. I wrote briefly of this before, but now let’s put some meat on the bones.

Baron von Schitzenpantz already knows that the House will be what it is, and he’ll have to either let MAGA Mike Johnson get it done, or push for his ouster and try somebody else. But the Senate is where it’s hardball. He needs the Senate united to get his cabinet picks and judges through, as well as to act as a rubber stamp for the extreme bullsh*t the House manages to squeak through. And so the Tiny Thumbs Dictator devised a loyalty test for his newfound majority.

Which he’s already failed, spectacularly. The Senate leadership vote was a stunning repudiation to Il Douche. Even before they met to choose a new Majority Leader, Trump demanded that nobody be considered for the role who wouldn’t give him the dictatorial right to be able to make recess appointments when his sh*tty candidates couldn’t get approved by the Senate. The obvious candidate there was the despicable Rick Scott from Florida.

Tough sh*t, Tubby. Instead Traitor Tot ended up with John Thune, a card carrying moderate of the Mitch McConnell bloc. It was McConnell back in Traitor Tot’s first term who denied The Peach Penguin of recess appointments by having a Senator show up every work day during a recess to call the Senate into session for five minutes so that it wasn’t officially in recess. I doubt that McConnell, the shadow Majority Leader, no matter who holds the title, would have approved Thune without his promise to continue to deny Il Douche of the recess appointments. And there’s not a goddamn thing that Traitor Tot can do about it.

So now it’s on to The Test: Part II. Trump is purposely testing the fealty and subservience of the Senate with his insane cabinet picks;

  • Tulsi Gabbard for Director of National Intelligence. Sh*t, he may as well pick Putin’s Press secretary for the job. She’s dead in the water
  • Kristi Noem as Director of Homeland Security. Noem has absolutely no background in either law enforcement or Intelligence, nor even any intelligence apparently. Nobody has forgotten her shooting a feisty puppy in the face, and every Senator knows that it only takes one foreign terrorist attack on US soil to make them personally responsible for confirming her in the first place
  • Bratty Matty Gaetz for Attorney General. Ain’t happening. Nobody has forgotten his alleged child sex trafficking scandal, whether the House Ethics Committees report and recommendations become public or not. There are reportedly 4-10 GOP senators who will vote NO on Gaetz, and the most frequently cited reason I’ve heard today from reluctant GOP Senators to confirm him is his selfish acts to blow up the House for personal reasons by scuttling Cave-in McCarthy’s Speakership

Traitor Tot is blatantly daring the GOP Senators to defy him, so that he knows who to turn his MAGA mob on with pressure campaigns. If they buckle now and confirm these knuckleheads, then fine, the road is clear. But if they resist him, then it’s like the old Fram oil filter commercial, You can pay me now, or you can pay me later.

Just one small problem. The GOP Senate has defied him repeatedly throughout his first four year debacle, and the basic cast of that resistance hasn’t changed;

  • Mitch McConnell denied Traitor Tot his recess appointments simply by having a single Senator call the Senate into session for five minutes every day, basically keeping it from officially being in recess
  • McConnell personally rebuffed Traitor Tot’s demands that he nuke the filibuster in order to let him slip his sh*tty agenda through. McConnell wasn’t giving up his biggest parliamentary hammer for the nonsensical gibberish Trump was trying to pass
  • And McConnell humiliated The Peach Penguin personally by calling a late night senate vote to repeal Obamacare, knowing full well that a terminally ill John McCain  had flown privately back to DC to personally scuttle the bill

And here’s BREAKING NEWS! MSNBC has just reported that The Mango Messiah will be nominating RFK Jr. as the secretary of Health and Human Services. What a gruesome twosome. You’ve got a Q-Anon conspiracist he wants to head National Intelligence, and a bear cub killing anti vaxxer to oversee the medical community and FDA.

Not only is there no good reason for the GOP moderates to go along with Trump’s bullsh*t, there are reasons for them to actively oppose it. Mitch McConnell holds Traitor tot personally responsible for costing McConnell his Majority Leader with his idiotic Senate candidate picks in 2020. And Murkowski and Collins feel personally betrayed by the abortion stance lies of his SCOTUS picks, costing them street cred with their constituents.And they all know, save McConnell, who isn’t running again, that they still want to be sitting in their seats four years from now when Traitor Tot finally shuffles off to Buffalo.

And one more thing. There is good reason to believe, at least in my mind, that the GOP Senate moderate mutiny may not end with rejecting idiotic cabinet picks. In his first term, Traitor Tot got all of his judicial nominees from a list compiled by none other than The Heritage Foundation. There’s no reason to think that he won’t do so again in his second term. But after the debacle of picks like Brewski Brett Kavanaugh and Aileen Cannon, along with the politically disastrous Project 2025, The Heritage Foundation’s name is sh*t in sane GOP circles. especially in the GOP moderate Senate, which will now have to stand as a bulwark against any House passed Project 2025 insanity that the public rebelled against. Look for more thorough GOP Senate vetting for a lot of these pigeon brained judicial nominees The Cheeto Prophet parades before them.

Between a House majority that can’t even tie its own shoes, and is going to have to rely on Democratic support to pass anything, and a Senate that won’t likely have the wool pulled over its eyes again, from day one it should be a nonstop cluster f*ck, just like the first time. And all starting within 22 months of the 2026 midterms. Don’t touch that dial.

  1. Unless every vote is private, All GQP will hold their noses and vote with the tyrant. Yes, talking about you susan Collins. Sure, she isn’t running again, as far as I know, but she, like all the others in house and senate, still have not found, grown, nor borrowed spines. Same shiit, different day. No matter what the subject, no matter what the vote, no matter what the damage.

    • Sorry it’s McConnell not Collins who will not be running. Collins just shouldn’t. She’s an embarrassment to all women and the entire state of Maine. She was not deceived nor lied to. She was gullible or bought. Just my opinion. I grew up in Maine btw.

      • I hear she’s bought up tissue in Maine preparing for much hand wringing and sniffles. She’s very very very very very concerned but said Trump told her he wasn’t going to sign an abortion ban. Kavanaugh backed him up. Someone should tie her behind a moose and smack it’s ass.

  2. I saw where some of his critics are planning to run out of the country…like the rich Jews did in Germany once they realized the storm was gathering. Of course the poor ended up in the ovens and made into lampshades. That being said, I doubt the Cheney clan will run. I hear people who think he’s going to arrest Liz and others. I doubt that would sit well with sitting senators of both parties. Given the extremes he went to like a violent insurrection and wasn’t punished for it but put back in power, I’m not sure what lengths he’ll go to in order to get his way. I hope being a senator matters after January 20th.
