The motto around here which describes the entire Republican party, as it has become mutated, bent, twisted and warped into the Trump MAGA party since 2015, is “there is no low they won’t go.” That has unfortunately been an aphorism which has proven itself to be true over and over again. Another comment which has been oft-repeated since 2016, is that the only thing that Donald Trump has not done is relieve himself on stage. Now, October 12, 2024, 23 days before the general election, it looks like that bridge, too, has been crossed. Part of me hesitates to share this here, because it is so tacky and crass. But on the other hand, if there’s one thing we do on this website, it is to tell it all. So, as I cringe and turn red, here, take a look at Trump’s “unruly digestive system,” shall we say?

I would now say that we have hit the rock bottom of public discourse in this country, but you know that we haven’t. There is always a new low that can be hit. And Trump will find it. We had a very different set up, politically, before Trump descended on his escalator at his eponymously named Tower in New York and sent American politics into a downward spiral which has only increased with time.
The likes of Mitt Romney and John McCain did not create any of this furor. Both were recognizable Republican types and those two election cycles were business as usual. Then we hit 2016 and a GOP bereft of leadership ended up putting Donald Trump atop its ticket. They knew it was a mistake, but still they did it. It’s a bit like a person deciding to “try” heroin and then realizing what bridge they actually crossed by that decision. And ironically, none other than J.D. Vance, in his previous incarnation as a Normal Republican, referred to his now-running mate as “cultural heroin” — not to mention “America’s Hitler.”
So I don’t know where the bottom is for Trump. What I am hoping for is that he gets defeated next month by a sizeable enough margin that his cries of *stollen election* will be laughed at and that he will then stand trial for his crimes.
And don’t forget, Trump has a sentencing hearing in late November. Judge Juan Merchan did not want to sentence Trump pre-Election Day, so Trump will be sentenced post-Election Day. Or not at all, in the event he wins and takes over America in a bloodless coup. His last coup attempt was anything but bloodless.
DonOld is disgusting. The clip and commentary above just buttress that conclusion, which many of us reached eight or more years ago.

No surprises here. I believe those who keep track always knew he was full of shit.
It appears Trump is now in free-fall, straight through his dysfunctional caudal valve; klaxon’d by the pushy and persistent buzz of flies that bedevil his malodorous personal space.
That’s what I thought all along. My biggest concern is that he would meet with foreign leaders and dignitaries. Is this really who we want to represent our country?
In my humble opinion, a natural fact of extreme odors hanging around Trump, shows he has accumulated a certain amount of fecal matter in his diaper and SHOULD try to keep that problem under control …
I suppose enough people talking about that to his face MIGHT humiliate him into the right process, BUT, knowing Trump as we mostly do, Trump NEVER cares enough to do the right thing, no matter what the public thinks … Also, his daily diet promotes all kinds of actions in his gut, NOTHING GOOD !!
Maybe someone asking about the interval between changes of his diaper could trigger something … ‘Hey Donald, don’t you know how awful you smell in public wearing the same diaper all day?!’
I’m sure Colbert or Kimmel could set something up …
