Trump Doubles Down. In The Worst Ways Possible In The Worst Places Possible

Here’s a quick tip for you from Politics 101. How do you know if something you’re trying to pull off is working? Because you look up and your opponent is busy doing something he shouldn’t be doing in the first place.

MSNBC reported tonight that Traitor Tot is spending two days next week, the last three weeks before the election campaigning in Florida. Why the hell is he going that? Granted the Harris campaign and the DNC and DSCC are dumping money and resources into the state, but that’s more with an eye of toppling Skeletor Rick Scott from his perch. But the Trump campaign made no mention of His Lowness campaigning with Scott. Either Traitor Tot’s paranoia is running rampant, or more likely the campaign is seeing numbers they don’t like. Either way, it’s a textbook example of expanding the playing field.

As Harris first catches, and in some polls actually surpasses El Pendejo ex Presidente on the issues of the economy and inflation, the only thing he has left to run on is immigration. And that means doubling and even tripling down on the most absurd and easily disprovable of claims. And apparently the bloom is off of the Haitians eating pets rose, since Il Douche hasn’t mentioned it lately. Now he has a new chew toy to gnaw on. FEMA’s disaster relief efforts following Hurricane Helene.

He did it again today at a rally in Wisconsin, grousing bitterly about how Harris and Biden had taken all of the FEMA disaster response money and instead diverted it to housing for illegal migrants, leaving nothing for the residents of Florida, Georgia, and North and South Carolina. It’s total bullsh*t, but that’s all The Mango Messiah has, so he’s running with it.

But here’s the thing. If that’s all this was, spreading bullsh*t at his rallies scattered far and wide, I wouldn’t even be writing this. Because that’s Trump’s MO, the guy spreads more sh*t than a Kansas wheat farmer. But in his stupidity Traitor Tot is playing with fire.

Because the stupid bastard first pulled it out of his ass in what were alleged to be disaster tours in Georgia and North Carolina last week. Instead of making even the slightest show of compassion or humanity, both of which he totally lacks in his remarks last week, he couldn’t resist it. He had to turn his remarks into a rally, and trot out the disappearing FEMA funds to illegal migrants trope in his remarks, slamming Biden and Harris.

Which was met with an unexpected, at least unexpected to Traitor Tot response. Both the GOP Governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp, as well as the Democratic Governor of North Carolina, Roy Cooper, immediately sprang to the defense of the Biden-Harris administration, showering them with praise for the speed, depth and generosity of the response to their states.

You hear it every election cycle, People vote with their pocketbooks. And pocketbook politics doesn’t get any simpler than this. More than a week after Hurricane Helene’s passage, more than 100,000 North Carolinians are still without power, and have to drive two hours to find a cell signal to contact loved ones, except their cell phones are dead since they can’t charge them with no power. I saw a report last week that said that only 4% of Helene victims actually have flood insurance, so FEMA is their only lifeline to rebuilding their homes and businesses.

This is life-and-death serious for these people, and The Pampers President is making a political football of their misery and despair. Biden and Harris are showing up and actually listening, showing compassion and support, and flexing their governmental muscles to show how hard they’re working for them. And the Scruffy Guru is running around slobbering and mumbling about stupid illegal immigrants in FEMA housing! That’s the last thing that these poor people need or want to hear.

And mark my words, he’s going to pay for being such an unutterable *sshole, for three reasons:

• First, because the stupid sh*t is just going to keep doing it. It’s his only card left, so he’s going to play it. And as power is restored, and people spend backbreaking hours lugging what used to be their lives to the curb for pickup and disposal, they’ll turn on their televisions at night and see Trump and Vance spouting this insulting dreck
• Second, the Democrats have the grassroots organizations in place to make him pay for it, especially in North Carolina and Georgia. Volunteers ready to offer to take people’s absentee ballots to the election board for them so they don’t have to do it, or drive them to a polling place, while gently reminding them of Trump’s outrageous comments
• And third, Florida. Trump is planning on campaigning in Florida two days next week. We’ll see, since a brand-new hurricane that sprouted up in the Gulf of Mexico is scheduled to wipe out Tampa Bay, Orlando, and likely the space coast in the middle of next week. And even if he sticks to the north and south parts of the state not directly impacted by the upcoming hurricane, almost the entire gulf coast suffered wind and water damage from Helene. And he’s going to stand there and bullsh*t about homicidal illegal migrants living in mini Mar-A-Slobo’s on the FEMA nickel while Floridians eat doomsday foil packets with no water

Everybody keeps talking about a possible impending October Surprise. The release of Jack Smith’s filing in the DC case may or may not have much of an impact. The threatened extended east coast dock workers strike was averted when Secretary Pete started cracking a few heads together. But by this time next week, more than half of the country will be early voting, and the ultimate October Surprise may well be Traitor Tot’s blatant attempts to turn tragic natural disasters for millions of people into cheap political talking points, all of them blatant bullsh*t. Strap in, and don’t touch that dial.
