This is an amazing clip on so many levels. We are now in month two of the ordeal known as Trump 2.0 and the rabid cur that is the 47th president of the United States showed his fangs and his character at a White House governors’ luncheon today. This is the same luncheon that Trump invited Justin Trudeau to attend, har de har har. Needless to say he heard crickets from Canada.
It’s unknown at this moment what caused Trump to single out the Governor of Maine, but single her out he did. After he bullied her and she stood up to him and said, “See you in court,” he then went into petulant school yard bully mode and basically told her, “You’ll never work in this town again.” I doubt that. As a matter of fact, Governor Janet Mills’ stock just rose sharply with Democrats everywhere.
Is that not the most pathetic excuse for a *leader* not to mention a *man* that you have ever seen? He came in looking for a fight. The transgender wedge is that and nothing more, a wedge issue with a high emotional content attached to it, which is used to divide people by fear, fear of the other. That’s why it’s one of Trump’s favorite talking points.
And Governor Mills gave a perfectly acceptable response to his query, that she would “comply with state and federal law,” which is what she is elected to do. But that wasn’t a good enough response for the Orange Orangutan. He wanted the governor, the woman, to grovel and make him the big shot. And then when she told him curtly to go stuff it, he got petty and ugly and threatened to end her political career.
That’s not up to him. She’s a Democrat, not one of his terrified Republican butt boys, who quiver and quake whenever he says boo. This display is fully as awful as when Trump went off on the journalist in his first administration for simply doing his job. If you’ve forgotten that debacle, take a look at this. This is Baby Trump at his worst.
This is who this guy is. He’s never run anything of consequence in his life, let alone the government of a city or a state. You saw how he *ran* the country four years ago. Yet, for reasons which beggar description, he gets votes. He has a cult.
This is now becoming our national identity, not just The Ugly American but the stupid, boorish American. And I hate to say it, but that’s been a label that we have worn abroad for many years now because we deserve it. My personal escape, when overseas and in a public place where Americans were making asses of themselves, was to tell people, “Je suis Canadienne,” and hope there were no Canadians around to bust me.
Trump is the worst. Again I share that famous quotation with you, “It’s almost impossible to believe he exists. It’s as if you took everything that was bad about America, scraped it off the floor, put it in an old hot dog skin, and taught it to make noises with its face.”
Trump represents the worst that this culture has to offer. And now that he’s back for a second term, more demented than ever, these kinds of out of control outbursts are what you can expect. And if this isn’t disgusting enough, this is the kind of a being that MAGA wants to be in power until he dies. Or America dies, whichever comes first.

He went after her because she is female. In Trump world, women are expected d to.submissively defer and praise him to the skies. She didn’t. I am only surprised he didn’t make rude remarks about her looks. That’s his usual.go-to when a woman stands up to him, because he believes the most important thing about a woman is her looks.
