I have a feeling that “Unprecedented,” the documentary by British filmmaker Alex Holder which is set to be released later this summer, is going to be an eye opener. Holder was interviewed by Insider recently and he reported a “mixture of reactions” amongst Trump’s three children who were present on January 6, Ivanka, Eric and Don Jr.

There was an attitude that one of them would give which was sort of incredibly bitter and angry about the end result,” Holder told Insider.

“And then there were the other children who were totally in denial and would not even refer or discuss or engage with anything to do with the fact that they were no longer in the White House and the catastrophe that had taken place earlier.”

Holder did not say which children he meant for each description. But his descriptions matched widespread reports about the Trump children in the aftermath of the election.

Trump’s two eldest sons, Don Jr. and Eric, have vocally stood behind their father in his unfounded claims the election was stolen.

In a string of text messages, first reported by CNN, Don Jr. encouraged former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows to pursue “multiple paths” to overturn his father’s election loss.

In a separate interview with The Independent, Holder said that Eric was unconcerned about potential violence from Trump supporters reacting to false claims of election fraud. […]

Ivanka’s stance on the election was called into question again when footage from Holder’s documentary, seen by The New York Times last month, showed Trump’s eldest daughter saying that her father should keep up his challenges against the election results “until every legal remedy is exhausted.”

That footage was taken in December 2020, the Times said.

Admittedly this is speculation, but I think it’s a no brainer that it’s Ivanka who was the angry, bitter one, while Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dumber were in denial. It makes perfect sense. Ivanka and Jared made a ton of money when they were working “without salary” at the White House, “playing government” as John Kelly characterized it. They were the ones with something to lose, i.e., an entre to more profiteering through scamming.

By contrast, Junior and Eric had no investment in Trump’s second term which was anywhere comparable. They were clueless and it makes sense that denial would have been their first knee jerk reaction and where they would have stayed.

I think Ivanka was only too happy to push the election fraud scam until it became evident that it wasn’t going to fly. That’s the difference between Ivanka and Daddy. She was able to see the futility of the situation early on. Trump wasn’t.

“Unprecedented” will air on Discovery+ sometime in the next seven weeks. My instinct is that it will be a blockbuster. If/when I find out a specific release date, it will be shared here. I base that opinion not only on the subject matter, but on the fact that Holder was asked to provide details to the January 6 Committee. Finally, we all know how the Trumps love being in front of the cameras, so I think that their preening and peacocking should be amusing to watch, especially juxtaposed against the violence that Daddy incited, and which concerned none of them. That was the least of their worries, if people were injured or killed.

I’m willing to bet that Ivanka is more her mother’s daughter than her father’s daughter. She’s probably been more than happy to reap the benefits from the “Trump” name but she’s also probably seen how her mother played the game and has managed to stay relatively clean from all of Donald’s dirt and trash.
