Just another day for Trump to embarrass us in front of the world. He needs an aide. Or a babysitter. This showed just how far downhill he has gone, and it was quite public, very much so. Who let Grampa off his leash? With appreciation for Raw Story:
A seemingly confused President Donald Trump wandered into a photo of Spain’s World Cup celebration on Sunday, catching some attendees off guard. Trump accompanied FIFA President Gianni Infantino to present the World Cup trophy to Spain after the team defeated Argentina 1-0 on Sunday. After shaking hands with players from both sides and presenting the trophy, Infantino and other officials departed the stage.
That sounds pretty straightforward, right? Come out for the awards, hand them out, and head off stage. It’s just not that hard. They even had people lining up a certain way to help everyone get to where they needed to be. All bases were covered, except they weren’t. Why? Because Trump.
However, Trump wandered in front of the team toward the opposite end of the stage. In the end, Infantino was seen running across the stage to accompany Trump. It was not the first time that a seemingly confused Trump had wandered off during a photo opportunity. Trump also wandered off during a photo-op at the G7 Summit in France back in June. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also appeared to guide Trump during their meeting in Ankara on July 7.
Oyyyyy. They really need to put someone with him when he is out in public for just this possibility. At least he didn’t try to steal the World Cup trophy. He took the Gold Cup last year and gave the team a replica, which was just bogus. The stealing is getting worse. I hope they were able to retake pictures for Spain’s win after Trump wandered through. It was one helluva game.
These are only the public zone-outs that we know of at the moment. How many has it been “off-camera? How many times has he been oblivious in the big morning meeting at the White House, where his administration is ready to scream? Do they ever figure out it’s pointless? They may get good money, but with the physical problems we know he has and the blatant mental lapses, are they ever going to say “Enough!!” and get gone? Or do they like the power of the position where they can do what they please? All sorts of questions for which we don’t have any answers. And by the way, he did seem low energy and like he is shrinking in on himself.

Remember the right-wing freak-out over Biden’s “wandering off” at the G7 summit? Turned out their propaganda machine decided to crop a picture that actually showed the President going to greet some paratroopers but, for nearly a week, the right-wing noise machine was showing just how “unfit” Biden was. Any bets that the same propagandists will say anything about Drumpf’s behavior? Probably not. No one wants to take a bet where they get $1 for wagering $10,000.
