Donald Trump is not only stupid, he’s unteachable. That’s the real problem. A lot of people are not overly gifted with intellect, but if they are capable of learning from their mistakes, they’ll do alright. Trump is not in that class. He keeps repeating the same mistakes over and over again. This time he’s flying in the face of an edict that Judge Lewis Kaplan laid down, that Trump cease and desist from posting inflammatory and prejudicial content about the Carroll v. Trump matter on Truth Social, because to continue doing so would open up new legal horizons. The judge was referring to witness intimidation, jury tampering, contempt of court citations, and all manner of unpleasantness. Trump didn’t learn. Or, he registered it momentarily and then forgot.
Pure lies. He was totally allowed to speak. The judge went out of his way to give Trump the opportunity to testify, after he had already waived that right via his counsel.
Now Trump is claiming he will appeal, and good luck with that. If his argument is that he was “silenced” and “not allowed to speak” that won’t be worth the paper it’s written on.
One thing that is obvious here: Trump is scared to death of the verdict. It’s no coincidence that Melania came out of seclusion and Fox News broke a story of how she’s looking forward to being First Lady again, on this very day.
Trump could find himself adjudicated liable for rape at the end of the day. He’s processing his emotions on social media, as is his wont to do, and making the situation even worse.
There’s a time to keep your mouth shut, Donald. Apparently that’s yet another lesson you never learned.
The mob would never accept a slug like this man into their ‘brotherhood’. I’m sure they took his money, but since he can’t follow just two rules, he’s on the outside. He doesn’t get their best lawyer, just one from the neighborhood. Hey judge, what constitutes contempt anyway?

Trump is too much of a loose cannon (always has been) to be on the inside of a mob organization. Oh, they did business with him after weighing risk vs. reward but his ego makes him easy to manipulate and he probably thought he actually was part of the gang while they were VERY careful to minimize what he knew. And, had he ever crossed certain lines like Tommy in Goodfellas he would have been suckered just the way Tommy was – and met the same end without seeing it coming until the last split second:
Judge Kaplan should sign a bench warrant and put it in the top drawer of his desk. And get one of his team with arrest authority down to FL (or wherever he is – again we don’t see anyone saying just where he’d hiding out and posting from!) on the first available flight to be met by a couple of U.S. Marshals. Then the judge should summon Trump’s lawyer to chambers and show it to him then get Trump on speakerphone. And tell him the warrant is signed and that he has ONE MINUTE to issue a public apology and then STFU until after the verdict or he’ll be handcuffed and hauled in front of the judge in open court and held in contempt. AND spend the night in jail! Or maybe sit there until a verdict is reached. But hell, we might have a verdict before the end of the day.
However, that doesn’t preclude a Bench Warrant both for contempt and to have Trump appear at the courthouse to be formally questioned by prosecutors regarding other charges like witness tamepering. He’d plead the fifth of course as is his right but might as well start creating a record for future proceedings!
If the judge hits him with something – I’ll believe it. 45 has gotten away with way too much, using social media. I’m literally – sick of him.

Millions of Americans sacrificed and served their country to fight a world war to rid the world of Fascism in World War II, and now their descendants are trying to bring Fascism to America.
