I guess we’ll wait for some other GOP lumanaries to say something civilized about the death of Robert Mueller because the titular head of the party only had this to say: “Robert Mueller just died. Good, I’m glad he’s dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people!” Trump posted to Truth Social Saturday. Any reasonable adult would have used the former special counsel’s death as a way to bring us all together, but not Trump. Trump has to be childish, petty, and vindictive to the very end.
Robert Mueller passed away today at the age of 81. He had an illustrous career and was greatly respected on both sides of the aisle. Trump at least could have given the man credit for being a Republican, albeit one he disagreed with on certain matters.
When Trump passes away, all of these slights will be remembered and people will be dancing in the streets. The cult will moan and cry, I imagine, but so many people will be relieved that the world is a better place without Trump in it. Whether you believe in the law of karma or not, you have to agree on a common sense level that it’s best to give the dead their dignity.
Mueller may have been an enemy to Trump but he was somebody’s father, somebody’s husband, somebody’s mentor, somebody’s friend. Trump could and would honor that if he was any kind of a person himself.
Everyone has to remember, every comment makes about anyone else – it’s a projection of him.
This was appalling behavior, even from a man who ordered the flags at all Federal facilities across the country to be lowered for that horrid piece of racist, misogynist s#!t, Charlie Kirk (and, let’s not forget, he *demanded* that the flags lowered in honor of President Carter’s passing to be raised for his inauguration–not even Nixon was that crass to the memory of the recently departed LBJ).
Yep. When Drumpf finally gets his one-way ticket to Limbo (he ain’t ever going to be allowed in Heaven and the Devil ain’t gonna want that POS in Hell), I don’t want to hear any whining from MAGAts and other GOPers about people CELEBRATING Drumpf’s departure.
Of course, can you imagine how Drumpf would be reacting if Mueller’s investigation had actually shown that Drumpf had *personally* been involved with Russian agents during the 2016 election (even though the GOP Congress wouldn’t have done anything about it)? I imagine Drumpf would be ordering Mueller’s body to be buried beside Ivana’s with groundskeepers ordered to place a Port-a-Potty (with no collection tank or even bottom) on top of the gravesite (maybe even promising a $50 “tip” for any groundskeeper using the facility).
