Why does Donald Trump lie so much? It probably has something to do with his megalomania and narcissistic bent. If he’s not automatically the hero of some story, he can just make up a story and be the hero of it. This time Trump claims that he spoke with a former president (pro tip: there are only four) and that president told him that he wished that he had invaded Iran. Unfortunately, this lie is so easy to ferret out as just that, a lie.
UPDATE: All four living former U.S. presidents told CNN they have NOT spoken with Donald Trump about Iran.
Trump lied. Again. https://t.co/OQHWZRscTp

If it wasn’t Biden, Clinton, Obama or Bush, then who was it? Maybe it was Trump himself. Maybe Trump was having a conversation with himself and one version of Donald told the other version that he wished he had invaded Iran.
That makes as much sense as anything else to come out of his mouth. Either that or one of the four living former presidents is lying and considering how they lie and how Trump lies, I think we can rest the lying honors strictly with Trump.
He makes such a complete ass of himself when he does this but some part of him either doesn’t know or simply doesn’t care. Fathom that. You’re the most photographed and most quoted man in the world and you lie like the proverbial rug.

He was talking about the 45th president. So technically, talking to himself he is correct.
it’s not just making himself the hero it’s everything. the war’s basically over, it’s just starrting, we have sll the sleeper cells being watched or whatever. he does it automatically about everything, even things he has no reason to lie about. he often doesn’t know what to say so he says anything. he will not say i don’t know or even i don’t care. it’s one of his multitude of mental issues.
