It’s amazing how one sociopath can widen cultural differences. America was divided when Donald Trump was elected and since 2016, he has done everything in his power to destroy whatever unity and institutions we have left.
Apparently believing that the best defense is an obnoxious offense, here is Trump, the almost 77-year-old juvie hall inmate, assigned to his own recognizance. He believes that if he trashes authority often enough then somehow authority can’t affect him. Wrong.

With TFG, it’s always projection. If anyone is scared and shaking, it’s him. I truly do not understand his attraction to the rubes. He has the strangest combover ever and wears orange make-up, is not exactly out of Central Casting for what a world leader would look or act like. He’s never worked at a real job, Daddy and Daddy’s money have supported him his entire life. All that said, I hope his reported “teflon” has started flaking off and that he finally has to face real justice. Whether he spends any time in jail is not as important to me as stripping him of his pension and secret service, which hopefully will happen when he is charged and convicted of seditious conspiracy in the J6 case, fingers crossed.

I’ve struggled with how the MAGAS AND conservative men thst ARE NOT mental midgets tolerate the bellyaching the pathetic insecurity, the persecution complex and wondered if it’s b/c they see themselves in him. I think a lot of it may be that they themselves are tax cheats, are pathetically insecure and constantly play the victim card themselves. But I can’t wrap my head around how they can listen to him and not think he’s a deranged moron. How are some of these people-who do have a few functioning brain cells listen to his Presidential Records BS, KNOWING that he’s pulling sh*t out of his a$$ and that the Presidential records act DOES NOT say what he says it does. When they hear this deranged act he does at EVERY SINGLE SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT HE’S HAD SINCE 2017, how do they not get annoyed that he STILL doesn’t haves f**king clue, has no desire to get a clue and no intention of getting a clue. Is it b/c they’ve been defending their voting for him for so long that if they stop now that every person in the planet is going to run up to them, point and say ‘I told ya so’? I suppose that my bewilderment is just a result of my projecting my sanity and shred of decency and shred of integrity onto people who have none.
Maybe to settle him down aides made a fake video of someone who looks a little like Smith giving a presentation as Trump describes it. Nah. Occam’s Razor makes me go for the simple answer – lying projection on Trump’s part. He’s terrified. But it’s not like we haven’t seen it before from him:

In NC at the Greensboro rally he called him deranged and a thug. Growing up in the south, I’ve had many encounters with snakes, both poisonous and nonpoisonous. The hard and fast rule I learned early on was NEVER antagonize it or you WILL get bit. Jack had a steely eyed look at his press conference, yet placid, just like I’ve seen when a snake gives you that ‘don’t phuck with me look’. I guess donny, living in the city, never learned that rule. Keep it up numbnuts. Keep poking until your arse is sitting in court being tried. I’m sure he’ll go easy on you. With the sentences you are facing in federal court, it will be lethal. The feds aren’t known for early releases like the states are. Tic tok.

Long, long ago back in both high school and college (JUCO) at the beginning of basketball games, either during introductions where one guy from each team would get announced and shake hands at mid-court or settling in for the opening tip I had plenty of dudes try to act tough and intimidating. I was confident in myself and saw no need to play such games. A business like demeanor suited me fine. That along with the fact I didn’t lie about my height unnerved THEM! Especially guys I was slightly taller than who were introduced as being two or three inches taller than me! (I wound up only being 6’4″ – my dad was three and a half inches taller) Smith is smart, talented, knows his sh*t and has been threatened plenty working at the ICC. If Trump and GOPer goons think he’s intimidated by them they are sadly mistaken. That quiet confidence, that gravitas he clearly showed unnerved TRUMP!
The people who threatened Smith at the Hague were much smarter and far more dangerous than Trump. Their loyalists would have no.problem murdering Smith’s family– or anunderling’s — to send a message.

Trump is the one who really didn’t grow up in the city. He grew up in a .01% family in a highly privileged enclave within the city. Somehow I don’t picture Trump riding the subway or eating a hot dog at Nathan’s.
Or standing “on line” to.see a movie in Times Square the way Ed Koch dif when he was mayor. His entire life has Bern spent ed avoiding the kind of people who voted for him.
Smith was a judge at the ICC at the Hague for years. The former guy isn’t as scary as he wants Smith to think.

Where was this footage of Mr. Smith shaking and such-like? I’ve yet to see any such thing. Perhaps former guy was shaking and the resulting view of the tee vee shaking made him think Mr. Smith was shaking? That makes a great deal more sense than what he was spewing. I’ve yet to see a picture of Mr. Smith showing anything on his face other than a serious visage.
