This tickled me that Donald Trump’s kneejerk reaction to Robert DeNiro is that DeNiro suffers from Trump Derangement Syndrome. I was told once on Twitter that I had “the worst case of Trump Derangement Syndrome I’ve ever seen,” so I take it as a badge of honor that Robert DeNiro and I have something in common. I also find it amusing that seeing Trump for who and what he is is some kind of “derangement.” The actual derangement is believing that there is a jot of good in the man or that he is anything like the person he gaslights his cult followers into believing he is.

DeNiro has said that he could never play Trump, “because he has not one good thing in him.” Now think about that. Here is a world class actor and he didn’t get to be a world class actor except by figuring out how to create complex characters that have both good and bad in them. This is a man who played Al Capone (terrifyingly, I might add) who was a bona fide monster, but he could play Al Capone because he could find some humanity in the man. He can’t find it in Trump. Let that sink in. And it’s not just an actor making this call, his own niece, who is a psychologist, is making the same call. And many many people join them, from all walks of life and all perspectives, from lawyers to coffee shop waitresses, to people in uniform, to school children. Here is what set Trump off.

And this was what the Baby In Chief responded.

The tweet ends “now expanded to other cities in the United States and he also co-owns the Tribeca Grill in New York City. Tribeca Enterprises in 2003. This includes the Tribeca Film Festival, the Tribeca Film Festival International, Tribeca Cinemas, and the Tribeca Film, a distribution initiative.”

DeNiro wasn’t born with a silver spoon in his mouth like Trump. He grew up poor and he made his life, he made his success. He’s the American success story of this pair, not Trump. Trump’s father and immigrant grandfather were the self-made men, not him. He squandered anything he ever got his hands on, and now he’s trying to squander the United States.

What’s intriguing about the advent of Trump is that it brought Robert DeNiro out of his reclusive lifestyle. DeNiro hated the press. He never wanted to be interviewed, go on talk shows, nothing. All that changed when Trump came on the scene and journalists praised the “politization” of DeNiro. There is a silver lining to every dark cloud, apparently.

In the video clip Maher quotes polls that have Trump ahead. The polling industry needs to change somehow. It, like the media, is not structured for the stresses to the system that Trump has caused. I think that polling might end up having to go to an internet platform of some sort, or polls could be conducted in grocery stories. The current system is not working.

And I don’t say that because there are polls that show Trump ahead. All the polls are wrong. Trump was supposedly going to be victorious in the primaries by as many as twenty and thirty points more than he actually was. When a poll is that far off, something is wrong. Four percent, max, is the statistical margin of error. You get into double digits like that and the polls are worthless.

Just one more thing that needs to be fixed — or that will go back to normal on its own — once the orange cancer is excised from the body politic.

  1. No one is more low IQ than DON THE CON. He really shouldn’t be making aspersions about anyone else, as someone could reveal the real truth about his own IQ. The real reason DON THE CON is so incompetent & unable to learn anything is due to his low IQ. He has never had much ability to learn or much use for reading. He literally got through school because his older sister did all of his homework for him.

I spent the majority of my adult life as a special education teacher, working with students with learning disabilities… & I can identify someone with those problems pretty easily. I know what to look for… & DON THE CON’S extremely limited vocabulary & lack of critical thinking skills are sure signs. My suspicions were proven accurate when I found some information about an IQ test young Donald had taken as a teenager in the military school his father sent him to. It indicated that Trump’s IQ score was a mere 73.

    • As a special education teacher, I am acquainted with how to read IQ scores & what they mean relative to a student’s abilities. A score of 70 & below is the range that indicates Mental retardation. A score of 73, such as Trump’s represents a person with borderline intellectual functioning & very limited ability to learn or understand broad areas of knowledge. They are also very limited critical thinking skills which is important for the majority of people to direct their own life & is certainly of dire importance for someone making decisions for a country, in a high office like a President.

It is extremely important that the general public find out that Donald Trump’s IQ score in only 3 points above the cut off mark which indicates mental retardation & there is no way he is competent to serve in any government position.

      • trump is a real world Peter Griffin only without the good sense of humor, sense of fun, healthy dose of love for others….you know, without any qualities that make Family Guy a show you might want to watch while a trump rally is something you want to turn off immediately.

Um, maybe that’s because Al Capone DID have some humanity. During the Great Depression, Capone was responsible for setting up a “soup kitchen” that fed thousands daily. The story even goes that, on Thanksgiving Day in 1930, Capone’s soup kitchen was planning on serving a turkey dinner at the soup kitchen until he learned of a story of the theft of a thousand turkeys and switched the dinner menu to beef stew just to keep people from thinking that Capone was behind the theft (none of the available evidence tied Capone to the theft in any way).

  3. The Trump IQ story got a look from Snopes: it’s 100% fiction. The story wasn’t printed anywhere, the school doesn’t have or release this kind of info, etc. Check it out!

    • Former guy likely has an I.Q. in the double digits and might be close to the cut-off for what is functional. He certainly exhibits this. You’re likely correct however. I could not imagine a school, let alone a reputable one, which would not be eager to disassociate themselves from such an ignoramus in any way possible up to and including test results, grades, etc. It stands to reason that every school trump attended knows just how fast they would be slapped with a lawsuit for privacy concerns and how much he’d win were they to violate his. As flexible as the privacy laws, slander, libel, concerning celebrities are, school records of anyone are off-limits without that person’s express permission. I don’t know where T Marie got that information but it certainly wasn’t from any school trump attended. Could the info have come from some other source? No idea.

I still stand by my P. Griffin statement and former guy needs to be very careful when in the state of TX. lmao

  4. Dear Donnie
Unluike you, DeNiro is a selfmade are man who earned his money and his reputation by talent and hard work and, yes, intelligence. He didn’t have a rich Daddy who bailed him out when he relied up.
