You know that Irony curled up and died many years back. Donald Trump was instrumental in her demise. Now, more recently, he’s buried Civility and we are not hopeful that she will ever return. If she does, she will be tattered and covered in mud, and not as pristine as she used to be.
Donald doesn’t like his former attorney general and evidently that sentiment is returned — in spades. Today’s exchange was Barr telling people in a Fox News interview that Trump was “toast.” That’s a modest enough conclusion to reach, on the facts at hand.
And of course Trumpty Dumpty went off his rocker, once again, and he called Bill Barr a “gutless pig.”
No, the indictment isn’t bull…., it’s all too real and compelling.

The interesting thing about Bill Barr is that since he decided to turn on Trump, he continually piques Trump every time he opens his mouth. On that you may depend. Barr is indifferent to Trump’s gibes and so expect more to come in the future.
Barr spent practically his entire tenure as AG protecting TFG with deflections and outright lies. He didn’t jump ship until after the insurrection. He covered his own fat ass by conceding trump’s loss in the election and they became sudden mortal enemies. I’s the pot calling the kettle in spades.
It’s tough to trust anything barr says after his constant defense of the idiot while he was in office. He’s has no credibility pure and simple and if the magats new what the word “credibility” meant, they might realize this.
Generally you’re correct when it comes to lack of credibility on the part of Biliruben-Barr the Hutt. However, he knows he punched through the envelope while stretching it to protect Trump and if the DOJ got someone willing to play hardball he’s got legal vulnerabilities. Not something he wants to deal with at his age. He is after all a heart attack waiting to happen (just look at him – I’M fat too but no one’s going to say I resemble Jabba the Hutt from Star Wars!) and there’s another reason for him to be talking/acting like he’s been doing since he got himself replaced during the transition – his son. Yep, he’s got a son who is to some degree mixed up in Trump World. However despicably he’s used them, both for Bush 41 and then Trump Barr’s got serious legal chops. He saw and heard more than he wanted to as the election approached and during the transition and wanted the hell out. Standing up to Trump and refusing to play along might still one day land him in the witness chair but Barr’s one smart lawyer and wasn’t about to do something that could instead land him at the defense table – as a defendant!
And, as I said he wants to run some cover for his son and other family members too. So with his criticisms of Trump Big Lie nonsense, and this National Security case (and probably J6 when the time comes if it does) being out ripping Trump will bank a lot of goodwill at DOJ. And by taking the heat himself from Trump/MAGA world it helps keep the spotlight off his family. So sometimes you can take what he’s saying serioiusly.
Are you sure baby huey wasn’t looking in the mirror? After all, a ‘man’ who can’t distinguish his wife from his rape victim could easily be misled.
You know, I never really thought about it, but the phrase “virtually everyone” in this context may well be close to accurate. All the trolls & bots are having a virtual mind melt over the indictments. Will be interesting to see how many make a physical appearance on Tuesday.
Hey, any rich person reading this: how about guerilla theater on a national scale? Banners over beaches on both coasts, shouting excerpts from the indictment… billboards documenting treason above and around military bases in every state. Show these maggots what they’re defending.
This is only effective if they can read. I’m quite sure a large percentage of the magats are functionally illiterate.
