No matter how you spin it Kevin McCarthy is having one heck of a lousy week.
Between Marjorie Low Rent Greene displaying pornography on the House Floor, BoBo Boebert insulting all gun violence victims by trashing a button given to her by parents of a 10 year old brutally murdered in Uvalde, Texas, or George Santos begging a judge in D.C. to loosen his ankle bracelet so he can go shopping, it has been one headache after another for the beleaguered almost Speaker… and it’s only Thursday.
Now comes word, via Raw Story that the Orangeutan is really pissed at him for not “expunging” his impeachments, which drumpf is stupid enough to believe is within his powers.
“House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is reportedly feeling the heat from former President Donald Trump over an apparent promise he made to expunge Trump’s two impeachments.
Politico’s Playbook reports that McCarthy recently promised Trump he would expunge his impeachments as a way to mollify the former president’s fury over the fact that McCarthy had still not endorsed him.“
I kinda disagree on one point of the above – that drumpf is pining for the crucial Kevin McCarthy endorsement which is approximately worth, with apologies to John Nance Garner, a bucket of warm spit, more likely he I’d just pissed that McCarthy hasn’t wiped his slate clean – which one of his idiots lawyers probably told him was possible.
“Although this promise seemed to calm Trump for a time, the former president’s patience is running thin as it doesn’t appear at the moment that votes on expunging his impeachments will happen before the August recess, as many Republicans from swing districts want no part this particular effort.
“Several moderate House Republicans are loath to revisit Trump’s impeachments — especially the charges stemming from the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol,” Politico writes. “(In fact, though only 10 of their GOP colleagues voted with Democrats to impeach Trump after the Jan. 6 attack, several more wanted to but were too worried about threats to their offices and families to take the plunge.”
Yeah, especially in crucial swing districts in New York and Quevin’s in California where distaste for drumpf still runs high but where folks also seem to believe they can vote Republican without ultimately helping him.
(Pro tip for swing district Republicans, you can’t vote R without helping the Orange Menace because he has taking your party hostage and is searching for a Titan submersible big enough to place them all in.)
McCarthy should really quit looking for ways to help Trump, who, despite certain facts, such as a nominee with 70 criminal indictments who is unlikely to retake the Oval Office.
And, Kevin, you of the missing spine, should know that in the unlikely event he does win you won’t be Speaker anyhow, as Trump is likely to cluster bomb Capitol and set anything not so raised on fire.
So maybe you should just step down now and hand the gavel to Marjorie Taylor Greene – at least she will be honest about her intention to use the slight House majority to help Don Cornholeone.
Unlike you, Kevin who will go along with anything Trump desires, no matter how stupid and nonsensical and then lie about whenever taking on the record.
Is there even a mechanism for expunging an impeachment? Once it is done, it’s done. Just like Bill has his little asterisk, so too will former guy have two of them. Neither was convicted in the Senate so BFD I guess. I’d ask why in the eff former guy can’t just move forward but then I’d have to ask why in the eff he can’t just put on his big boy panties and get on with life: no good answer to that one.

Traitor Tot’s impeachments are a matter of record. Even if it were possible for the public records of those impeachments to be “expunged” to many private sources exist for them to ever be forgotten. As to Traitor Tot’s expiration date, he is well past his sell by date!
I strongly disagree with the claim Tantrumthinskin has no chance to get back in Oval Office. If the electoral college were zapped, I’d agree. Trump has no chance when it comes to the popular vote. But the electoral college puts the difference between Trump & Biden about 50k votes across 3-5 districts in 3-5 states. An RFK Jr spouting hisFoxNews BS running as an independent in 3-5 states could easily bleed off enough votes from Biden for tantrumthinskin to be elected dictator. I desperately want to be wrong but I think that’s the whole point of that No Labels BS propping up Lieberman & Manchin. Maybe they get one of them to run as an Independet in the swing states, maybe it’s RFK br running as an independent. There are plenty of Republican voters tired of Trump but still stupid enough to vote for an Independent.
