Funny how Trump supporters defend their rights to spew hatred but when it comes down to it, it’s only their rights to such liberty of expression that is important.
Efforts in New Jersey to launch a Trump Baby blimp, modeled after one that was a central feature of London protests during Trump’s recent visit, has been threatened by Trump supporters who vow to pop the blimp if it appears in the U.S. They have gone so far as to try and fundraise for bail in the event that they are arrested after popping the helium-filled effigy.
Activists Didier Jimenez-Castro and Jim Girvan launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise $4,500 for a Trump Baby balloon which was similar to the one in London that could be flown over protests near Trump’s golf club in Bedminster, where the president often spends weekends. Jiminez-Castro and Girvan found quick success and raised more than $23,000 before it stopped taking donations.
Enter vile Trump supporter Kathie Kitt Conklin who doesn’t want to see her supreme leader criticized publicly, so has vowed to pop the balloon according to the Asbury Park Press. She then set up her own GoFundMe page to raise money for bail in the event she was arrested after popping the balloon and then releasing ‘Make America Great Again’ balloons after its’ demise.

GoFundMe removed the page, saying it did not meet its terms of service.

Since then, two other GoFundMe pages have been posted by opponents of the Trump Baby balloons. As of early Friday, neither of those pages had received donations.

Meanwhile, being a balloon-popping douche just isn’t enough for Trump’s vile band of followers. Jimenez-Castro told the Bridgewater Courier News that Trump supporters have been calling and emailing his place of employment – a homeless shelter – in an effort to have him fired.
“I love my job. It is everything to me,” Jimenez-Castro, who works full time at the shelter and part time at a supermarket, told the newspaper. “I respect my full-time job. That’s where I get my happiness from. I was told to keep my work and my activism separate and I do.”
Just another example of the vile Trump base.
