There should be a sign up at Mar-a-Lago memorializing all of the laws that have been broken there, both state, federal, and dare we hope moral? No, we dare not hope for that much, because if moral laws the Trumps have broken were cast in stone, the stone would have to be the size of Mt. Rushmore. Let’s just try to see if civil and criminal laws can be addressed. Donald Trump had an event at his Florida estate this weekend, where a “one of a kind Trump Glock from the 45th President of the United States Donald J. Trump” was auctioned off for a dog charity, with the bidding starting at $10,000.  Meidas Touch:

Trump, who is currently under federal indictment, is barred by federal law from shipping, transporting, or receiving firearms or ammunition. It is also a crime for anyone to sell or dispose of firearms to another person, like Trump who is prohibited from shipping, transporting, or receiving them.

Trump and anyone who sold him that weapon could potentially face prison time. Trump could also forfeit his pre-arranged bail. Since Trump’s indictments are so well known, the person who purchased the weapon could also be legally liable for assisting Trump in breaking federal law.

The video clip posted by a Mar-a-Lago attendee shows a live auction for Trump’s gun being conducted on premise. Another video from the same post shows Trump in attendance for the fundraiser.

Trump was at the event and onstage with Kimberly Guilfoyle and Lara Trump. Mar-a-Lago is tacky as hell. It was built in the era of the Great Gatsby, when flamboyance and excess ruled. It is a dated, vaguely hellish looking manse. It reportedly smells moldy. Chandeliers in bathrooms clash with recently installed storm windows. Bizarro World is the order of the day.

And here one Donald John Trump just keeps breaking laws right and left, almost in spite of himself.

This is not to be confused with the other one of a kind Glock that Trump allegedly purchased in South Carolina, with the attorney general of that state standing right by, and then later claimed he didn’t in fact buy when it was pointed out to him that said purchase would have been illegal.

      • Just a combo of willful ignorance, nurtured stupidity, and the belief that anything he does is legal because the law is made for non-white, non-straight, non-rich men. And 8 decades of practice and getting away with it.

    • We know how this story ends. whoever buys the glock from trump will be quickly tried, convicted and sent to prison. Of course, trump will say that the sale of the gun was done for charity and he, of course, will lie and spin it for all that it’s worth while avoiding any timely prosecution like any of us other people who live at this address of America. Even if he does go to court he will be as disrespective and disruptive to the proceedings and nothing ever happens to him, as usual. It only happens to us as we get more disinchanted, disheartened, and again sick to our stomachs for having to endure his trial more than he does compliments of the ultra-biased media while in search of the highest dollar. Does anybody in this country have the guts to put all of these sham regulations aside and just finally through his big a** in prison?!!!!

      • I just thought of this but how about those of us who are adversely affected by him and his road show go ahead and sue him for mental distress? It sounds like a plan to me!

      • why would the purchaser FROM Trump be liable? It’s the one who bought it FOR him, if that happened since the indictment that is, who would be in the deep stuff along with Trump himself.
IF it was given to him before the indictment, I don’t think selling it off now actually breaks the law.

    • He’s not stupid. He’s just playing the system because he knows he can get away with it. I don’t understand why the so called leaders of this country isn’t doing anything about this guy. I know that there’s a process that individuals are entitled under law after being indicted, but come on. He continues to make a mockery of the system that’s supposed to keep him in check. I can’t believe that the country that many Americans have given there lives for over the centuries can be gone in under a year. It’s truly heartbreaking. If anyone out there thinks that the several cases against him is airtight. Forget about it. The nation is watching and as long as he is able to get away with things like this and not be held accountable for it. People will gravitate to his invincibility.

      • They know they can’t win, so they keep him tied up in courts. Communist do this all the time. The left don’t do for the American people like Trump did so bash him. If Trump did ANYTHING wrong he would have been busted as president.

          • Not sure whether you meant “Eddie” or Trump, but since both are delusional, I agree!
Btw, even if he did own the gun prior to indictments, I believe he’d have a legal problem for selling it – ironically, he’d likely be subject to the same charge he & his minions are so anxious to put Hunter Biden in jail for. Can’t wait to hear the MAGAts try to justify the idea that Hunter should face consequences but the former guy should avoid charges – lol – the hypocrisy just keeps on coming…

        • Trump.did nothing for this Left woman. His mishandling of the pandemic killed a lot of Americans. It forced my husband to.quit his job because I was in a high risk.group. which cost us half our income. His tax cuts didn’t cut what we owed. His affection for Putin and backing of Russia in the Ukraine invasion and desire to destroy NATO which enables an actual Communitst Fascist Dictator strengthens Putin. And Putin has a.nadty habit of murdering or imprisoning anyone who dates to.disagree with him. Trimp.has, said thay if he is re-elected. hecwill weaponize DoJ to go after anyonevwho criticizes or ooposes him–just like his mentor Putin. Those are facts, not opinion, which directly contradict what you have stated here.
You are either willfully ignorant, delusional, or incredibly stupid.

  1. Your “… And here one Donald John Trump just keeps breaking laws right and left, almost in spite of himself…” Just maybe this behaviour is part of the self inflicted ‘decompensating and grand psychosis’ he’s currently trapped in, with no end in sight, simply because “… “The decompensation [he’s trapped in] consists of exposing an inability to see reality…” – see: https://www.salon.com/2023/11/07/dr-lance-dodes-on-courtroom-antics-decompensate-to-the-point-of-gross-paranoid-psychosis/

  2. Two things there that make me wonder just what’s going on:
1:- it’s no secret that Trump hates dogs
2:- Trump doing ANYTHING for a ‘charity’ that doesn’t have the Trump name somewhere
3:- he will probably claim that he didn’t actually buy the gun but someone gave it to him and he’s just trying to dispose of it

I can imagine the scenario in regards to its origin “This big strong guy came up to me with tears in his eyes and said ‘Sir, I bought this because it has your face on it and I’d be happy if you would donate it to a charitable cause'”

Seriously, I think he actually WANTS to be arrested and spend a (short) time in jail just to boost his street creds with the MAGAts
