This is going viral and Donald Trump looks like a fool. Again. And always. But at least this time it’s coming at him from a member of his own party, who has made the decision that he’s mad as hell and is not going to take it anymore. Who ever thought Thom Tillis would end up being the next John McCain-level conscience of the party? It certainly wasn’t on my bingo card, but neither was Rand Paul as the voice of reason. In any event. Trump trolled Tillis earlier today, as you saw here and this is what Tillis replied.

“Minisoldr” is the social media handle that Mark Robinson used on a website called Nude Africa. Robinson posted there about his sexual escapades with his sister-in-law, which included golden showers, the “dukey chute” and all kinds of vocabulary and imagery that you can easily live the rest of your life without, so I won’t repeat it here.
Robinson, of course, did the usual FAKE NEWS primal scream, but it was futile. CNN broke the story and they had the right handle on the website and screenshots of the posts and all of the eyes dotted and the tees crossed. When it was all over, Robinson lost his bid to be North Carolina’s governor. Trump dumped him and so Robinson got by the rest of the campaign with a cardboard cutout of Donald and Melania that he hauled up onstage with him. Most people may lead lives of quiet desperation, but there was nothing quiet about that level of desperation. Desperation was hanging off of Robinson like flop sweat.
People started wisecracking online today, me included, about Robinson as Tillis’s replacement and that was before Lara Trump spoke of throwing her hat in the ring. (Yes, she used to bray to Ron DeSantis about what a “proud Floridian” she was, but maybe she’ll realize her real pride is back in North Carolina.)
Lara Trump vs. Roy Cooper will be a great match for that Senate seat. And speaking of people named Roy, maybe if Lara doesn’t run in North Carolina, Roy Moore can trek from Alabama and throw his hat in the ring once again. It worked so well back in the day. Got us Doug Jones as a senator for a time. Maybe Roy will work his magic again.
And truth be known, either Lara Trump or Roy Moore would have a better shot at that Senate seat than Mark Robinson aka “Martin Luther King on steroids.” Only to you, Donald, only to you.
I stand by my original suggestion that Trump pardon Geroge Santos and then bankroll him to run for the seat. Sometimes kneejerk solutions are the best after all, it’s your subconscious calling the shot right the first time. I think Santos can top (bottom?) Mark Robinson and God knows that that is saying something.
Or, I have another candidate and you’re going to love this one, too: Lin Wood. Yes, I know he lives in South Carolina but hey, that’s just a hop, skip and a jump over the state line, right?
But all in all, just look at the bench of terrific talent that we have seen in the GOP the past few years, that these names just come tripping off the tongue. Even Stephen King can’t create horror characters like the GOP.

Bankroll Santos with what? Drumpf’s not going to spend any of HIS money on someone else’s campaign. Hell, he barely used any of his money for his own campaigns (letting all his moron MAGAt donors finance them). Now, Drumpf could probably ask (“direct” or “order”) his minions to fund Santos’s campaign but, by then, most of them will be lucky if they have any kind of available cash to spend (what with all of the other grifts that Drumpf will invariably foist on them between now and next summer).
Tillis had a better shot than any nutjob they bring forth. If Roy Cooper runs for Senate…he’d wipe the floor with the black nazi, the howling monkey who thinks she can sing, the cross dresser from NY, etc. Since baby huey hasn’t made any friends in red western NC, ending FEMA, his support may be eroding. End SNAP, medicaid, ACA, etc., and some of the racist rubes may wake up.
