Ha. *Someone* just outed themselves with a comment about a certain Congressperson, and I’m dying! *Someone* waffled around in their interview and refused to really answer the question. But I think *someone* is a little concerned about this Congressperson, it seems, even if this person was brushed off, as if they were of no concern.
Y’all. JD Vance made a mess of his interview with Fox News, and it is *wonderful*. I found this article in one source and went to look for other sources, and found them too! I know the interview happened, but this was a one-time comment noted by my first source, and I wish other places had picked up on this. Are you ready?
VANCE: President AOC, the stuff of nightmares, Bret. Thank you. You have ruined my sleep for this evening!
‘The stuff of nightmares’: AOC apparently ‘lives rent-free’ in JD Vance’s head. That was what the first source said, and now you know why I’m dying! I did find something similar about “ruined my sleep” but it’s subtitles of a bit of the spoken interview, and I can’t grab the whole thing, which is a pity. Sometimes I just don’t have the tech to do such things. And someday I’ll be able to insert things in my pieces. I’m working on it, though! Here, have a rather long quote.
“Although right-wing media outlets have an obsessive hatred of progressive Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-New York), the self-described “democratic socialist” and close ally of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) is quite popular in her Bronx/Queens district — where she has decisively won four terms in the U.S. House of Representatives (2018, 2020, 2022 and 2024). And she has been an aggressive fundraiser during President Donald Trump’s second term. Some progressives are now mentioning AOC as a possible Democratic presidential candidate for 2028 — a possibility that far-right President JD Vance addressed during a Friday, May 2, appearance on Fox News.”
We already know what was said. I think he owned himself rather well, don’t you? This misogynist pig said she would give him nightmares. Hmmmm. How could we use that against him? There have to be ways to do so that might interest the “higher-level” news organizations. I don’t know how. But surely there has to be a way. And here’s more along a different line. He really doesn’t interview well.
“The vice president told Baier, “I think to the extent the Democrats have a leader, Donald J. Trump is the leader of the Democratic Party, because they’re just against everything that he does. I mean, who could possibly disagree with rebuilding American manufacturing and ensuring the steel workers have higher wages and better jobs? But any time Donald Trump does anything, they have this emotional response; they have to be against it.”
Whaaaaaat? Tell me how this makes sense, please. I’ve read it multiple times and still don’t get it. Leader of the Democratic Party? Erm, no. Not hardly. We do not have much for our party, yet, but we do have Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries. They’re not exactly great, but they do lead. As a side note, I’m very disappointed in Hakeem. He has missed what, to me, have been multiple chances to speak up and speak out. And with Mike Johnson flailing badly, that’s something to take advantage of. But no. Okay, one more JD quote.
“Vance added, “They don’t have real leadership. That’s why I’m not too concerned about 2028. Because if I wake up in a fantasy world where the Democrats actually have constructive ideas about how to govern this country, that will actually be a good thing. But in the world that we live in, where they’re anti-Trump about everything, the politics of 2028 will take care of themselves.”
Sure, they will. Sounds like Vance doesn’t feel they’ll need to do any campaigning in 2028. His master has done all these “wonderful” things (which have worked in reverse from his promises), so the American People will already know him and vote for him because of all of these “wonderful things”. They aren’t wonderful. Let me be a bit blunt. They suck. And not very well. Please let us manage a Democrat to stomp all over tRump, or JD Vance, if he *really* thinks he can win a third term, even *if* he finds a way to do it. Please let us get this …*thing* out of the presidency of the United States. Please? Thanks for sticking with me!
*****And now, please be so kind as to read a very special request from our awesome boss******
Zoomers, we are always in need of donations. It’s been an especially rough April, and my own health has not been great these past few weeks, which just adds to the frustration. Anything you can spare will be immensely appreciated. And thank you to all who have donated generously already. Ursula

Hakeem does speak out on a frequent basis but like Pelosi before him he doesn’t seem to speak very loudly and the media doesn’t seem to pay a lot of attention. Contrast that with AOC.
Huh. I didn’t know that. Nevertheless, I wish he would *stand up* for *what he believes in*. We need to be loud and soon. Well, in my opinion…..
