Kyle Rittenhouse has already been turned down by Texas A&M, so he really shouldn’t be surprised that he would have some trouble in Texas, at least with establishments, if not most of the people. Now a Texas brewery has canceled a Rally Against Censorship which was to feature Kyle Rittenhouse.

For people who have gone to law school or read the news extensively, it is tough to connect censorship to private entities. “Censcorship” should almost always be connected to the government and take place on government property because if it occurs anywhere else, it’s a private business or freedom of expression argument.

Additionally, there appears to be only one side that believes it is being censored:

Please note that by refusing to host the rally, the brewery is “censoring” these people every bit as much as Twitter and Facebook. The difference is that people assume Twitter and Facebook have an obligation to post “all-sides” even when “all sides” included Russian propaganda in 2016, COVID19 misinformation (that could get people killed in 2020), or even possible misinformation regarding “Hunter’s Laptop” which – at the time the NY Post ran the story, had no proof of the chain of custody, a sketchy story by the owner of the store, and the FBI said it bore all the hallmarks of a Russian disinformation plan.

The Right is also the section of society more likely to threaten violence or use hate speech against certain groups of people. Taking away these people’s voice is no more a demonstration of censorship than if I took a flag that said F*** God (Which I’d never do as a practicing Christian) in front of Walmart and waived it. I’d last 30 seconds before I’d be told to leave, possibly arrested for trespassing.

So there is no real need for a rally against “censorship” unless the right wants platforms required to keep violent, racist, or dangerous content on board.

I have no idea why Rittenhouse believes he’s censored. I know he hates the media because the media portrayed him as a homicidal maniac. Which he is. He is not a “murderer,” we must respect the jury, and “murder” is a legal term. “Homicide” is death at the hands of a person, so he is a homicidal maniac and is mad that there were some bad reports about him. I guess he believes he should be allowed to gun down two liberals and not have a bad word said about him.

Rittenhouse has increasingly focused on anti-media and “anti-censorship” crusades since being found not guilty of homicide and other charges in 2021. The cancellation by Southern Star — which follows a few days of backlash — is just the latest controversy involving Rittenhouse to occur in Texas.

He was found not guilty of murder. He did commit homicide. But we’re glad that his cause didn’t find a home in this brewery. Is he ever 21?

  1. If he shoots himself cleaning his gun, the world will have one less nazi punk elevated to celebrity status in this sick culture.

  2. Prediction: this little murderer–and yes, I will.use that term despite being cleared by a right-wing jury will eventually marry and become an abuser. I see domestic violence in his future. He is a coward unless he is packing a gun.
