I love me some Jasmine Crockett. Today’s discussion is brought to you by Yahoo News. At a recent DOGE subcommittee hearing, Representative Jasmine Crockett laid it out on the line. She discussed the damage DOGE has done and the hypocrisy of its initiatives. Remember Elon promising to cut $2 trillion from the federal government in “waste, fraud, and abuse”? Yea, that. Then he revised it to $1 trillion. Now it’s about $150 billion. And really, all it has done is to get a lot of people fired, as well as getting their sticky fingers into everyone’s protected personal information. We won’t go into how I feel about that.
Well, Jasmine laid it all out. “The Republicans’ recklessness and chaotic approach to reducing the size of government has shown us what we’ve already known: ‘concepts of a plan’ don’t work,” she said. It’s definitely not working! It’s just creating chaos and pissing off the people who were fired. And it’s pissing off the people who are left who have had their work load increased exponentially, which means they get things done even slower because they have so much to do. That’s not helpful to the US, it’s hurtful!
But it gets better! “They haven’t proposed anything that will improve the efficiency of the government. Instead, they have put the country on a path to a recession and implemented the largest tax increase on Americans in decades through Trump’s tariffs.” “It seems like we are talking about an administration that has been hellbent on firing government workers, they are hellbent on engaging in fire sales of our government buildings, and while we are at it, they are lighting the Social Security on fire, Medicaid on fire, Medicare on fire, 401(k)s on fire, Department of Education on fire; and instead what we need to light on fire are Trump’s tariffs. In fact, we could go a little bit further and fire this incompetent administration.” And here’s the best one: “Let’s talk about the fact that as of March 30, Trump’s golfing has cost us approximately $26 million. And the last time I checked, we’re not getting anything in return for that.”
Well said! I’ve been wondering if a member of Congress would bring that up. It took long enough!!! I think we can always count on Jasmine to bring up the things no one else dares to say. I can hardly wait to see what Butch Body and Bobo have to say about this. You *know* it’s going to be some nonsense that Jasmine can easily slap down. Maybe one of these days she’ll make a comment about the 2 of them wasting her time and breath to answer them. And hmmmmm, maybe Nancy Face will comment, too!
Time for more Jasmine. “In fact, he decided that he was going to golf as the markets were tanking. He decided he was going to golf instead of receiving four heroes who died serving this country. He has decided that he wanted to play games while the rest of us are really trying to make sure that we can serve the American people.” Ouch! Burn! And of course she’s right. It really does seem to be that Agent Orange comes into the White House, signs some EOs, and then goes back to golfing while Congress tries to sort out what the hell he just did. It’s not a small amount he casually spends just going down to Mar-A-Slobo, not even counting down and back, and it is ridiculous. The man puts in just enough effort to do things as president, then golfs the rest of the time. He’s not in jail, so he’s happy. And don’t forget the dementia!
To close, I’ll give you some comments from the r/Fauxmoi sub-Reddit. “Where is DOGE to cut the wasteful spending where it’s actually needed?? Aka, all the money Trump spends on golfing?” u/Cultural-Party1876 asked. “Nah, he was working, but just not for the American people. He was making sure the money he brought to his hotel and golf course went into his pocket. He is working hard for that government money he is stealing right and left,” u/Rightbuthumble said. And “Twist the knife, raise some doubt about whether he really won his golf tournament,” u/Mooseguncle1 joked. Many noticed Crockett is often the only Democrat publicly criticizing Trump and DOGE. “I love her and the others pointing out 47’s bullshit, but I hate the silence from the majority of them. This whole thing is bullshit,” u/Lokaji pointed out.
Yea, I love me some Jasmine. I look forward to the next time she speaks publicly. What topic will be next? No matter what she chooses, she’ll point out what people are consciously overlooking. Perhaps she will inspire other Democrats. Don’t touch that dial. Thanks for sticking with me!

People have to realize and realize quick that rich well fed white fat cats have descended on Washington and are playing God. You’re money is gone it will be up to someone else. Best thing you can do is quickly open a new account which the IRS or Social Security doesnt have. Protect yourself protect your money. Once its gone its gone. Musk will move that money to off shore accounts or Swiss accounts that trump will say we have no jurisdiction over.
