Remember Brad Parscale? He came to prominence as the low-level web developer who “engineered” the 2016 Trump “miracle” victory.

Sadly, 2020 has not been Brad’s year. On September 27, he was arrested and forcibly put under observation after he blew a fuse at his Florida home.

Now, sources say, he’s under investigation for stealing between $25-$40 million from the Trump campaign. He is also under investigation for stealing another $10 million from the Republican National Committee.

As of this writing, he’s still under involuntary observation in a Fort Lauderdale hospital. His wife Candice was seen screaming and fleeing their home, and initially told police Parscale may have committed suicide. Apparently a drunken Parscale was “ranting and raving” in their home and fired at least one shot from a revolver. Police took him down without firing a shot — all comparisons to the cases of Jacob Blake, Javier Ambler, Tamir Rice, and so many other innocent African-Americans are valid — and since then, more information about Parscale has been made public, including allegation of wife abuse and now embezzlement on a massive scale.

In July, Parscale was demoted from his position as Trump campaign manager after the Tulsa rally debacle.

Naturally, Trump and RNC officials deny Parscale is being investigated for anything. Forgive me if I don’t believe a fucking word they say. So far, they seem to be sticking to their story that Parscale’s meltdown is the fault of Joe Biden and the Democrats.

Parscale is under “tremendous pressure,” according to a Trump insider. That source continued:

The thing about what Parscale did with the finances of the campaign could actually be totally legal. But Brad has tons of bills since his lifestyle picked up, and he sees the gravy train coming to an end.

In recent weeks, Parscale has let the good times roll, hosting one drunken bash after another at his home, and frequently being seen stumbling out of bars in Fort Lauderdale.

He owns a $2.4 million home, three condominiums, a Ferrari, a Range Rover, a BMW, and as many as eight boats. He makes $15,000 a month from the Trump campaign. He said last year he became wealthy by working for the Trump family well before he joined the Trump campaign. “The President is an excellent businessman and being associated with him for years has been extremely beneficial to my family,” he said.

Parscale evidently spent some of his Trump largesse on weaponry: the police found ten weapons inside his house, including two rifles, two shotguns, five handguns and a revolver.

In May 2020, various news agencies reported that companies owned by Parscale had pocketed some $40 million from various re-election committees.

Stuart Stevens, a former Republican consultant, said of the Trump campaign:

This thing has been a large criminal enterprise. It’s like that scene in the ‘Goodfellas’ after the heist. Dishing out furs to mob bosses’ girlfriends and wives.

  1. Sort of like the unemployed guy that suddenly has two new Harleys and a new speed boat in their driveway…..the money came from somewhere and you can’t hide money.

……you can’t hide from Boss Putin either, and he takes a very dim view of persons who steal “his” money…..they have a way of falling victims of unfortunate accidents.

    • Yep. If a Democrat had done something similar, the GOP would be out there saying the person had brought it on themselves and ANY claim that the GOP had any connection would be denounced as nothing more than an “unwarranted partisan attack.”

But, the whole “party of taking responsibility for one’s own behavior”–for some reason–just cannot seem to accept their own people taking responsibility for their own ills.

  2. Hmmm. Brad and company are lousy grifters but mostly bad planners. Not that I am advocating such things, however: I would have parked my ill gotten gains in a non-extradition country (preferably warm and nice) and after Nov. 3 taken a nice vacation to one spot… and then to my final spot. Just saying.

And oh yeah: the debate… wasn’t a debate. What a cluster from 1600… but at least some folks now can’t say they don’t know… or saw. Unhinged and unfit.

    • The fix was in with a fox news moderator who let him run amok. If I were Biden, i wouldn’t do another one unless rachel, joy, or Nicole moderates. Even so he looked as he is…an unhinged tyrant who essentially said forget the votes, i am a dictator.

      • Scott, Chris W is one of the good ones, like Shep Smith. I actually tune in a bit to his show Sunday mornings and I learn a lot about what the other side is saying when they have brains (it kills me to let go of CNN or MSNBC, but I DO for Chris, because he’s that good and evenhanded). He did the best he could with that raving lunatic up there. I don’t think ANYONE could have done any better during the “Trump Shitshow”.

    • Count me among the “didn’t bother” crowd, Senovio. The sight or sound of Trump has become too physically repulsive for me to bear and my mind’s already made up. Ergo, what would have been the point?

    • Rory, I once heard that every weekend jaunt to Mar-a-Lago on Air Force 1 costs the US taxpayers $10 million! We could start from there. And like you, even at all those trips (I don’t know – 50 of them in 4 years? $500 million??) I am still confident that’s small, even teensy-weensy potatoes compared to how much that grifter-family has REALLY stolen from American taxpayers.

  3. The Baker Act does not equal arrest. Keep that clear. My Mom was “Baker Acted”. She was released from hospital confinement back to her assisted living facility.

At some point, the hospital has to release the “patient”. Let us know when the cops have him! Then he’s really handled as some crook “under arrest”.
