CBS continues to self immolate. The latest manuever is to fire Scott Pelley, not that he didn’t anticipate that. Most often when you speak truth to power, power goes nuts and retaliates. That is what happened here. As Ron Filipkowski opines, history will be kind to Scott Pelley, not so much to CBS. This is an important consideration, a person’s legacy. Kudos to Mr. Pelley, who went down swinging.

“Misconduct.” BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Pelley told the truth about the misconduct of the new ownership of CBS, that’s the only misconduct at issue here. Maybe Pelley can go have lunch with Stephen Colbert. Oh, to be a fly on the wall. That conversation will be classic.
