President Trump is a patriot who loves his country whether you believe it or not.
Well, let’s take a look. Trump considers himself the ultimate American. The greatest one in history. In his mind HE is America. And, he loves himself more than anything else. How many times has he said he alone can fix things? Last night he told us he was greater than George Washington! (You know, the guy who led us to victory in the Revolution, was our first and most cherished President and we grew up being taught was the Father of our Country) I have come to realize Trump truly believes that kind of shit. So in HIS mind he is American and America is him – ergo since he loves himself (and ONLY himself) he loves his country.
I know he loves how it has allowed a spoiled rich punk like him to live so high on the hog all his life.

Belief is such an interesting term to use, Mark. You believe in Trump…that’s up to you, you are free to believe in anything or anyone you wish and to take it on faith that he is a patriot who loves his country. You have to take it on faith alone because you have no rational reason to see the man as a patriot who loves his country.

I am capable of rational thought and I give weight to actions (proof), not words (belief). Trump’s actions are often in direct conflict with the Constitution. He has not come to Congress for consultation on changes to Federal agencies that are created by and funded by Congressional action…just as the Constitution requires. He literally ignores the lawful orders of Federal judges to stop certain actions and to restart payments lawfully determined by Congress…just as the Constitution requires.
You remember the Constitution, don’t you, Mark? It was written by patriots. Those patriots specifically warned against and wrote laws against one part of the Federal government taking action without the check and balance of the other two. Trump violates those Constitutional requirements and that is the opposite of patriotism…proof not belief. And Mark, before you argue that SCOTUS gave immunity to Trump or that some members of Congress are happy to defer to him…the Constitution is not a menu of legal choice for you to select the laws you will follow. It is damned clear that you must follow them all and, should you wish to change those requirements, you must follow the clearly stated requirements for doing that, too.
Ignoring the Constitution is action (proof) that Trump is not a patriotic lover of this country.

One of the best is Craig Unger, House of Trump, House of Putin. Another is Michael Isikoff, Russian Roulette. Then there’s Malcolm Nance, The Plot to Destroy Democracy. These books are meticulously documented, but it’s interesting that when it comes out of a machine, that’s when everybody starts to pay attention.
