Rudy Giuliani’s Bonkers Interview Goes Off Rails When He Calls Donald Trump A ‘Very, Very Good Man’

When that creepy, ingratiating smile creases Rudy Giuliani’s face, I have to wonder if there’s anything behind it. There are so many times when Giuliani seems like another case of “the lights are on, but nobody’s home.” Sometimes I think Monty Python’s Terry Gilliam could do one of his brilliant montages here — Rudy’s giant head floating like a balloon, his huge teeth chattering and spewing a bunch of hilarious inanities. Really, he’d be a perfect subject for Gilliam.

We’ve all seen him with that hair dye oozing down his temple, his disgusting yet somehow funny stint on Borat 2, and his beyond-the-pale obsession with Hunter Biden, which caused former U.N. Ambassador Gordon Sondland to comment: “Every time Rudy gets involved he goes and fucks everything up?”

I think that sums ol’ Rudy up quite well.

He was interviewed by “prophet” Julie Green, who seemed to hang on each of his words without questioning him. Green is another crackpot, who, according to Right Wing Watch, told Eric Trump that dear old Dad “is God’s Anointed and Appointed One.”

So as you might imagine, her interview with Giuliani was similarly enlightening.

“I know joe Biden, you know, for four decades, i didn’t know until the last five years that he was a thoroughly evil man,” Giuliani told Green. “he’s not just a bad man, he’s not just a crooked politician, Deep Down In his soul there is a great darkness. you do not treat your grandchildren the way he does. You do not make your son into a degenerate drug addict for your benefit.

Perhaps Rudy needs to be set straight here. There has never been, nor will there ever be, a president who’s perfect. I think Jimmy Carter, considering his benevolence well into his 90s continued to help build houses for poor people, even while dealing with brain cancer. Can you picture Trump doing that?

I can’t either. I don’t believe Biden is perfect, but he’s considerably kinder than Trump. And no, I don’t believe it’s his fault that Hunter has been bravely fighting a tough battle to stay off drugs. Kudos to him for battling this as he does. But saying that Joe Biden caused his son’s drug addiction is just plain ridiculous. Giuliani isn’t deterred by the facts, however, and he went on to extoll the supposed virtues of his former boss and friend.

But whatever you could say about donald trump, what a nice family he brought up. he may have had marital problems. he found a way to overcome them. and he helped me with my son when i had marital problems. This is why i love him. i mean he’s a very, very good man. And i could cry sometimes with what they do to him. Even politically, because he can handle it, but they do him personally. Personally there’s no comparison between him and the thwarted, almost satan-like guy in the white house.”

I think even the most gullible person understands Trump “overcame” his “marital problems” because he found out that extricating himself from these problems turned out to be rather expensive. And now it’s turning into a huge mess that may wind up with his doing time. And separating more than 5,000 terrified immigrant children from their parents who hoped to give them a better life in the U.S. is pure evil. I do not believe in God or Satan but I do know cruelty when I see it, and what is this really when you tear families apart?

I don’t know what the hell is wrong with Rudy Giuliani. He’s always been like this. He’s almost as much of a monster as Trump, but he has less power so we can be glad for that. He has a whopper of a bankruptcy case he has to fight for. That should keep him out of trouble for a while.

Giuliani, to me, has always looked like one of those creatures who climbed out from under a rock. It’s time for him to climb back under. Maybe he could drag Trump with him.
