Recently I wrote that when you’re riding a cold streak, it never seems to end, no matter what you do. But if this news is true, then the J6 committee may be hitting the start of a roll that they hope never ends.

I wrote earlier today that MSNBC reported that Ivanka Trump is in negotiations with the J6 committee to cooperate and testify before the committee. That would be a feather in their cap. In the Trump White House, Ivanka was kind of like the weather, she was everywhere. But now MSNBC is reporting that none other than The Ghoul Man himself is in negotiations for his own cooperation with the committee, including testimony.

Now, hold on. Before you start having nocturnal emissions, wait for the McGuffin. And it’s hefty. The G Man says that he will not testify directly against Trump, nor will he turn over documents concerning him, citing attorney-client privilege. Yeah, I know. Your first thought is, Then what the fuck does he have worth talking about?

It turns out a lot. Because Ghouliani is willing to talk about his, as well as other administration members contacts and conversations with sitting members of congress in the days leading up to the Capitol riot and the electoral college tally.

From where I’m sitting, this is a sweet deal. It would be incredibly hard to get a court ruling compelling Giuliani to testify against Trump, and would likely take until after the first Biden term. And it has from day one been a goal of the committee to uncover any possible traitor in their midst, who might have gone so far as to give recon tours to rioters the day before the riot.

This is Kreepy Kevin McCarthy’s worst nightmare. He has done everything in his power to make the Capitol riot a Legitimate political discourse. And now, here comes the former President’s personal attorney, ready to spill the beans to the J6 committee about all of the seditious shenanigans in his caucus, including texts, e-mails and logs.

From Ghouliani’s point of view, it doesn’t get much better than this. Whether Trump ponies up for his legal defense or not, this gives Giuliani an out to maintain his loyalty to Traitor Tot. And cooperation with the committee might just score him some brownie points for retaining his New York law license. I’m told that confession is good for the soul, ya know. And Giuliani sure as shit doesn’t care about any GOP congressional scumbags. And since Trump doesn’t either, he isn’t going to get any blowback over his rolling over like a newborn puppy.

Trust me, keep an eye on this. This is a win-win situation for both sides. The J6 committee gets information on traitor House members by giving up testimony on Trump they wouldn’t have gotten from Giuliani anyway. And Giuliani gets to take some of the legal heat off, while remaining loyal to The Cheeto Prophet. Now I’m starting to understand why the J6 committee pushed back the start of public hearings. These things take time, and then the committee has to receive and digest the information. And now the House GOP can sit on the hot seat. Don’t touch that dial.
