And while we’re at it, when the six theocrat wannabes make rulings the MAJORITY of the country disagrees with, shouldn’t they perhaps get a little blow-back? In case you’ve forgotten governor dumb-ass, those six dick-wads took away a civil right the result of which will kill women and girls.

    No, when you do something so fucking stupid and evil, you deserve what you get. That it has only been some protests should fill those political hacks with relief. Should anything adverse happen to my beloved niece due to this asininity, it’ll be more than protests they’ll be worrying about and I’m POSITIVE I’m not the only one thinking this.

I guess I have been wrong all these decades about SCOTUS having a dedicated Security Force, part of the Federal Protective Service and that they (every day) coordinate with the FBI and other agencies to sort through threats and take appropriate measures (not that Justices across the spectrum have fully appreciated or cooperated with even regular, much less enhance when needed security) to protect Justices. And I guess I was REALLY stupid to believe all that professional effort to protect Justices was ONLY for the protection of conservative Justices.

    It’s hard not to think he believes it so why the fuck doesn’t this ASSHOLE come out and say what he thinks – that anyone not conservative (whether Justices, other federal and state officials whether elected or appointed) enough to suit him deserve to be summarily executed. Hung on the lamp post, mowed down in the streets, blown up in their homes. Whatever it takes because as far as DeSantis is concerned anyone insufficiently worshipful of his fucked-up RWNJ conservative ideology isn’t even a human being and should be exterminated.

  7. The right-wing folks are deluding themselves if they think DeSantis is the shiny new object everyone will love if Trump doesn’t (or can’t) run in 2024. The governor has a record of fascist, authoritarian measures that have no appeal to progressive and moderate voters. You can bet the opposition research on him is well underway – the downside of being declared an early frontrunner.

    • Karen, I agree he doesn’t have the die hard devotion of Trump’s shrinking base, so in Nov coming up I think he will lose steam going forward as that base stays away in droves. No Trump, no die hard core, no electability. God help the GOP finding their next leader??? And surprise, surprise I warned everyone when the whacky Tea Party set showed up with completely normal Sarah Palin in tow, that the GOP was heading down a slippery slope.

      • Ron deathsentance has no appeal. He is mean spirited, hateful, rotten to the core. The dfg at least had some sort of appeal to his minions. Ron just scares people into thinking only he can protect and save them. But he has zero appeal, zero personality. I’m not sure dfg’s followers will like him enough. Just my opinion.

  8. It seems to me that there has been no death threats from the left; no shots fired from the left; just scorn and derision. That doesn’t even leave bruises. The guilty run when they think they would do physical damage. We’ve been discussing impeachment or extending the court or maybe doing both.
