Florida is a strange land, politically speaking, and truth be known, it’s got a well deserved reputation for strange for a lot of other reasons. Florida is father to everything from the Brooks Brothers Riots to Cuban refugees escaping in boats and becoming cocaine drug lords, ala Scarface, to the Bermuda Triangle, to Ron DeSantis.

It’s been strange for quite a few years and dirty trickster Roger Stone is part of that strangeness.

The clip you are about to watch is from an upcoming documentary about Stone, Trump and everything you never wanted to know about GOP politics but couldn’t get away from, no matter how hard you tried.

Isn’t that interesting? Roger Stone says the same thing that Paul Ryan said a few days ago, that Trump can’t win reelection. Me thinks if you’ve got two wildly diverse political thinkers such as Stone and Ryan clued into the same basic, primal fact, that that fact is probably a verity.

Say what you will about Paul Ryan, at least he doesn’t seem to be loaded whenever you see him on camera, and I can’t say the same thing about Donald Trump, Donald Trump, Jr., or Roger Stone.

Mark your calendars. According to MAGA logic, November 8 will be a “red steamroller” and 2024 a “red, triumphant Trumpian wave.” I don’t think so. I think Trump has as much of a chance of staging a successful comeback as Norma Desmond. He’ll probably end up in the same place, a padded cell — or some kind of a cell.
