Holy Matt Schlapp, Batman! There does seem to be a recurrent theme in MAGA world and that is of predatory sexual behavior. The big shots in MAGA world let the aspiring big shots know that if they want to get anywhere in the conservative movement, they will play ball. Ali Alexander got investigated last year this time for grooming young boys and now that investigation has expanded.
A police investigation into Republican operative Ali Alexander is still ongoing, a spokesperson for the Johnstown Police Department in Colorado confirmed to the Daily Dot on Wednesday, and has now extended to Texas.
“The status of the case has not changed and the Johnstown Police Department is working with partner agencies in Texas to further the investigation,” the spokesperson wrote in an email.
The Daily Dot reported in April of last year that a case had been opened into allegations that Alexander used promises of advancement in the conservative movement to try and groom underage boys. Alexander is also accused of offering jobs to the boys, who were in the orbit of Nick Fuentes’ fascist America First movement, in exchange for send him sexual images and videos.
One of the men who made allegations against Alexander was Aidan Duncan, who went by Smiley in the movement. Duncan went public last year with messages from Alexander where he tried to solicit him for images in 2017 when Duncan was 15-years-old.
“You don’t even send me videos anymore,” Alexander told him in one message Duncan published. “No good jack off material. Don’t even wanna be my side piece. But I understand.”
Duncan also said that Alexander offered him an internship if he agreed to come “hang out” in Texas for a week and also proposed heading to Colorado to meet Duncan if he was “game.” Alexander was in his early 30s at the time.
Alexander was also publicly accused of trying to groom another underage conservative. Lance Johnston, a then 17-year-old rising conservative influencer, claimed that Alexander had sent him a message asking to “show me ur [eggplant emoji].”
“I apologize for any inappropriate messages sent over the years. Forgive me,” Alexander wrote in a statement posted to his Telegram channel. He referred to “battling SSA” — which appears to be an acronym for same-sex attraction — and insisted he’d “repented before God.”
Alexander admitted he’d been “careless” in his flirtation, adding that “I’ve flexed my credentials or dropped corny pickup lines.” Alexander insisted that “nothing unlawful has occurred” and that he’s been targeted by “fake accusers or literal honey pots eager to frame me.”
The controversy reflects bitter infighting among former allies in the political camp of Kanye West. Milo Yiannopoulos is a notorious far-right troll who briefly advised West during his antisemitic blitz last year, alongside Fuentes and Alexander. Yiannopoulos reportedly blames the duo for his dismissal from a potential Ye ‘24 bid.
The context here is fraught. Yiannopoulos — a notoriously noxious political operator — saw his own mainstream political career dashed after he made light of pedophilia in 2017. The accusations against Alexander are unfolding like a political op, including with a dedicated Telegram account releasing “The Ali Files” as well as a phone tipline (833) STOP-ALI.
Initially, Alexander dismissed the screenshots as “fake messages.” His ambiguous apology refers to “seeing false claims alongside real messages.”
There are a lot of very strange people in MAGA. And they run a basic Hollywood sleaze formula, which is do for me and I’ll do for you. And the do for me is almost always exclusively sexual in nature. These are the kinds of people that are in Trump’s Trojan horse. He gets back in power, all the sleaze bags roll right back into power with him. Damn……now it seems to me that soliciting and receiving child pornography from minors on-line is indeed a crime…..add to that across state lines and it becomes a federal crime.

Good write-up about an icky subject, but I think, Ursula, that your photo above the title is Dinesh D’Souza and not Ali Alexander. They are both pretty nasty pieces of work and do look alike, but Alexander has a longer, horsier face. 🐴
