I wonder if Kyle Rittenhouse will ever wake up and realize that he’s the tool of evil forces who are merely using him as an icon and that when and if he loses a certain appeal to a certain MAGA faction, they’ll drop him like a hot potato?
Rittenhouse doesn’t want to make anything out of himself, apparently. I was heartened when I heard that he was going to study nursing. That’s an honorable profession. But we haven’t heard too much about that lately. He’s evidently too busy with his show biz career.
The show biz career isn’t going too well. He got canceled at an event in Texas and then just today, in Las Vegas, the Venetian Room doesn’t want him, either. Poor Kyle is upset.

Maybe he doesn’t remember the 2017 mass shooting where 60 people were killed and over 850 were injured. This was the worst mass shooting on U.S. soil and it wasn’t all that long ago, so it sounds to reason that people are a bit twitchy about gun worshippers.
I believe that the Venetian read the room, which is something that Rittenhouse might try doing, and they don’t represent the “woke mob” so much as they do the horrified families of the victims of the Harvest Music Festival massacre. Here is the statement they made.
“Our tenant informed us that they have canceled the event. We do not speak on behalf of our tenants, but want to emphasize this event did not align with our property’s core event guidelines.”
Rittenhouse is part of the tragedy of gun violence in this country only he doesn’t see it that way. He sees himself as some kind of a hero. Nobody who guns down two unarmed men in the street is a hero. That said, he’s got himself an unusual berth in the right-wing media sphere. He’s the poster child for the second amendment, on the one hand, and he’s being manipulated as such, on the other. The fact that he got away with murder is the allure here.
When Rittenhouse brought out his video game, it became pretty evident that he doesn’t want a normal job and to live any kind of a normal life, he wants to be a big bucks right-wing media star. He wants to take an incident from his childhood, where he killed two men, ostensibly in self-defense, and ride that train until the end of his days.
I don’t feel sorry for him but I do feel some sadness for the futility of the path he’s chosen. The fact that he wasn’t convicted of murder was a mercy which was accorded him. A lot of his teenage shooter compatriots have not been so lucky. They’re rotting in a cell as we speak. Instead of taking it that way, and moving on to something better in his life, he’s choosing to stay locked in that moment, like a fly in amber.
Hollywood is full of child stars who don’t turn into adult legends. Many of those people live confused and tragic lives. And we’re talking about people with talent. Rittenhouse’s only talent is that he was able to pull a trigger on two unarmed men and through a screwy trial and equally screwy laws, not go to prison. That’s not much of a talent. Any one of us here today can claim that same ability to pull a trigger. The rest was luck, and had nothing to do with Rittenhouse. Maybe he doesn’t get that.
I hope Rittenhouse finds a better path for himself. The right-wing media machine, like any media machine, grows tired of yesterday’s news. Let’s see where Rittenhouse is in a year or two. He may not be the right-wing poster child anymore. That dubious distinction may pass on to somebody else. (Hey, Kyle, ask Donald Trump how fickle public opinion is.)
Rittenhouse will find out at some point that these mentors of his, his “friends” are only interested in whatever pennies he can draw as a novelty act in their larger media circus. The way things are going, the act isn’t playing so well. He might do better biting the heads off of chickens.
Rittenhouse’s problem is not the woke mob, it’s the grifters he deals with who monetize tragedy and human suffering and who monger fear. I wonder if he’ll ever wake up to that? Or what it will take for that to finally happen?
This festering little fuckwad thinks he’s so tough. And special. He went looking for trouble, and in particular a chance to use his GUN. Even had his mommy drive him to where he knew a chance to shoot his GUN, and most importantly at other human beings! This little P.O.S. travelled out of state, with violence and almost certainly cold-blooded murder (of “those” people) in his heart. And when his group of “property defenders” wasn’t getting to shoot their GUNS he ignored their please and struck out on his own seeking out his chance. Well, as predictably as the sun coming up in the morning he got his chance and he got to use his GUN on people. He killed two and maimed another, not that he has ever cared because to them they were “real Americans” like him. In his tiny warped mind they deserved to die!
Yet he goes strutting around like he’s some badass. And a kid who couldn’t get laid in a Po City Whorehouse (a notorious liberty spot old Navy & Marine folks who were ashore in Subic Bay once upon a time) with a hundred grand in hundred dollar bills now gets free drinks in RWNJ watering holes as trailer trash groupies throw themselves at him.
I’ve said before if he wants to play the tough guy, the badass then PUT UP! He wanted, even craved and lusted once upon a time to get into a situation where he could shoot people. He didn’t give a flying fuck about those businesses he claimed to want to protect – he just needed an “event” that would give him his chance to shoot a military weapon designed specifically to kill other human beings AT other human beings – people he didn’t believe were the right kind of people. The CAUSE itself didn’t matter jack shit to him – only the opportunity it presented to use his GUN on other people.
For almost a year now he’s had the PERFECT opportunity to get himself a brand new GUN and shoot at other people. Like I said to this little shit the cause itself doesn’t matter, only that he gets to shoot other people and be a badass. I’m referring of course to the war in Ukraine. Being a conservative and the worst kind of conservative too he might prefer to carry his new GUN for Russia. Doesn’t really matter to me which side he fights for, only that he PUTS UP and heads to where he KNOWS he’ll not only have ample opportunity to shoot other people, but that he’ll find himself in situations where it’s kill or get killed.
Funny (well, not really) but he’s never to my knowledge even hinted at wanting to go over there and prove he really is the “super-stud-muffin-tough guy-badass” he keeps running around pretending to be. This ole white guy who grew up in southern Illinois wouldn’t shed any tears if this piece of shit got wasted with his RWNJ pals across the river from St. Louis one fine night, and insisting he wasn’t too drunk to drive tried to head back over the river. But being wasted he took an exit he shouldn’t have and finds himself deep into East St. Louis and his car breaks down. My oh my he’d be a long time dying that night. And I’d say good riddance. (and to conservatives who follow this blog FUCK YOU if you don’t like what I’ve said)
As to this boy’s eventual dark fate (which we both know is coming; he lacks even the basic survival instincts of, say, the thankfully deceased Limbaugh), I defer to Stephen King’s repeated phrase in The Stand: “No great loss.”

Well, if the little panty-waist needs to be such a bad ass, maybe he needs to enlist. Oh wait, that actually requires testicular fortitude and let’s face it, these little piece of shit weekend warrior wannabes have anything but the balls to risk a hangnail let alone their lives.
I feel zero pity for this dim bulb and how he keeps stumbling from one self-inflicted disaster to another. He thought (or, more likely, had been told) that he could be a superstar among the ammosexuals. His ongoing problem is that this means much less than it once did. Nor does he strike me as being bright enough to figure that out. Any day now, I’m expecting another incident involving him and a gun.
Any day now…my thoughts exactly! What kind of country has a court system that lets this guy go Scott free after he kills two people and seriously injured another IN FRONT OF DOZENS OF WITNESSES, and then a faction of our society holds this guy up as some kind of sick, twisted gun-toting hero? I say we have a real problem. I hope he gets caught peeing in the fountain at the Venetian Hotel on the Vegas Strip!
