Someone is getting their hair blown back. He has come out and said no bullsh!t with the DoJ, as so many of us had wished we had the reach he does to do the same thing. He, and I’m sure others, are tired of the Blondi bullshizzle. So, how do you bring an AG up on charges? It’s past time for ass-kicking. Yes, we are in a damn stupidass, megalomaniac’s war. No, we haven’t seen all the damn files. It‘s about damn time, considering we’re already 2 months past the deadline. We want to see her go down in flames, oh yes, we do. Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) uncorked explosive claims Wednesday about stonewalling from the Justice Department, claiming the Trump administration kept the “worst” documents from the public eye. In an interview with Raw Story, Khanna said the House Oversight Committee is proceeding with Clinton depositions and is coordinating a legal strategy with federal prosecutors in New York to compel the release of restricted documents. “It’s a drip-by-drip thing on accountability,” he said, suggesting a prolonged battle ahead.
It most certainly will be. Blondi couldn’t even acknowledge the survivors, let alone redact them. (Yes, that still infuriates me. Three guesses as to why.) And if we tried to push it up to the Supreme Court, you know that thing would be slow-sludge-walked for the next decade, at least. Why in the hell they’re called the “Supreme” Court is beyond me. The conservatives are all crap, with the possible exception of Amy Coney Barrett, who seems to be sliding towards the middle of the road. At least she’s finally showing she thinks and isn’t always a follow-along turd like the rest of them. Heh, and watch me now be proved wrong.
When pressed about whether the White House and President Donald Trump’s DOJ are defying Congress and the law, Khanna noted the release was incomplete, but damaging. “They released half the files, but they’ve kept the worst stuff,” Khanna stated bluntly, warning that “this is not going away.” On the critical question of whether courts will serve as a safeguard against government overreach, Khanna expressed cautious optimism mixed with realism.
See my statement above. We can’t be sure that a court *would* help, even if the DoJ is breaking the law. It’s touchy, maybe yes or probably no. Although one of the BadAss Judges on the list I’m keeping might do just that. We could bet on them going hell-for-leather, *but* within the parameters of the law. I‘d love to see them go up against Judge Boasberg or Judge Chutkan. Hell, I’d put any one of them up there.
“I think the courts will push, but it may take the next president ultimately to really get prosecutions, investigations, and the files released,” he declared. The DOJ has come under immense scrutiny over its bungled release of the Jeffrey Epstein files following the passage of the Epstein Files Transparency Act in November. The law required the DOJ to release all Epstein-related materials by Dec. 19, with minimal redactions. The DOJ under Attorney General Pam Bondi missed the deadline, released files in batches, and made unauthorized redactions.
Yea, the bitch (sorry, not sorry) is completely protecting Trump and others. They’ve pulled in the Clintons. Lutnik is going to take questions. We’ve heard a little bit from Elon Musk. And how many others, which there have to be, will NOT have to come in? Is she ever going to talk with the survivors? Heh. I don’t know why I asked that because we all *know* she won’t. Her position won’t “protect” her forever. Soooooo, which should go down first – Gnome or Blondi? Both?
See you soon!
Friends, I know everyone begs you for money. I promise that among all those asking for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We’re a group of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. The rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the chance to keep telling the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula

unfortunately those federal prosecuters work for blondi, at least they do for now.
Yup. And that is the problem. If only one of the law firms who stood firm against Trump could thwack Blondi “upside the head”. I can dream.
I know this is slightly off topic, but I noticed over on DK that there is another judge to add your list of BA judges: Judge Gary R. Brown. He’s mentioned in an article about a legal immigrant’s case against Krispi Gnome and ICE, titled “The Laws of Human Decency…”
Added! I’ll go look for him. Thank you very much!
