Amidst the explosive indictment of two Russians, one that appears to be bringing all of MAGA to a standstill, comes now Tim Pool, one of the influencers said to be paid by the Russians, who is already pledging his cooperation with the FBI. In other words, he doesn’t plan to go down alone even if not yet indicted. In Trump’s vernacular, ever-dependable MAGA Tim Pool could become a “rat.”
Well, what else is a guy purportedly paid $100,000 a week going to say? He was “only” doing what he’s done all along. He may have just withheld the fact that many of those posts had to be translated from the original Russian:
I have been contacted by the FBI as a potential victim of a crime
The FBI believes I have information relevant to an ongoing criminal investigation and have requested a voluntary interview
I will be offering my assistance in this matter

Ouch. Stretching the definition of victim there.
Regardless, one can almost hear the shudder throughout the Russia First crowd. There are lingering questions, particularly as to who else might be involved. Washington power broker and attorney George Conway seems to know where the tracks may lead… back to more rats and that may fully explain the shudder:
The most interesting aspect of the Putin Payola indictment *isn’t* what and who it refers to—it’s all the folks *not* mentioned in it who feel the need to squeal like stuck pigs.

The Trump campaign seems to be reacting in real time, screaming about leaks in… yes – a leaked memo. According to our friends at HuffPo, the memo stated:
“You should not be independently speaking or communicating with any members of the press — on or off the record. We have done a great job at preventing leaks, and that has been because everyone knows what the policy is and what we expect from everyone. Information is power — and the press doesn’t give a damn if you lose your job because you spoke out of school.”
“If just one of us goes off course, it jeopardizes not only the team, but also President Trump and Republicans up and down the ballot.”
Right. Coming the day after the explosive Russian indictments, hmmm. It sure makes Conway’s message more compelling. Republicans “up and down the ballot” implies that perhaps some in Congress were involved in the investigation. If one wants to remain thoroughly naive and without adequate suspicion, chalk it up to coincidence.
Others are eerily quiet, including some that have openly voiced sympathies for the Russian government. Elon Musk has been posting with elan, over and over, all day – nothing about the indictments. Could he be one of the rats? It would be hard to find someone with more influence on the Right. Doubt it. But he is certainly in a place to know things.
But we can’t know. Hopefully we will know. There is a chance Tim Pool might spring a leak. It could easily explain why it seems as though MAGA has a “nothing to see here” approach. Pool has to be careful, though:
The most Tim Pool Thing ever is for him to walk in there and give a sworn statement without an immunity agreement, then get himself indicted. pic.twitter.com/Y2jwOQrlC5

Funny. Unless you’re Tim Pool, “victim.”
This story isn’t going anywhere. Indeed, it could come to haunt the campaign with ongoing revelations, payments, Russian propaganda, defensive influencers, silent politicians, and Trump being forced to answer whether he will pardon any or all of those who may have pushed this dirty content onto platforms and screens.
MAGA’s silence sure makes it easier to hear a pin drop, or the other shoe.

House of cards are about to fall!!
The worm turns, eh!
Remember when the merest hint that there were Russian sympathies would have sunk even a ‘left wing’ Democrat, let alone a ‘patriotic’ republican one?
And, oh the irony, they still accuse our side of ‘communism’, whatever that is nowadays.
It’s OK If You’re A Republican, don’t you know? We will soon hear that the First Amendment gives influencers and politicians “every right” to spread Russian disinformation, even when Russia pays them to do so. And our current SCOTUS will probably agree, sadly.
He may be cooperating but I seriously doubt it is out of the goodness of his heart or to save our nation’s elections from foreign influence. It is highly likely his cooperation stems from the fact that if he doesn’t, his ass might just be in a whole heap of trouble with the feds for facilitating puddin’s election interference schemes.
Time to hold media and media outlets (i.e. zitter, f.b., youtube, etc.) to account: they are often being paid so they can spew puddin’s sewage all over the place. They too are facilitating his election interference. It is way past time for this to end. Put space karen, zuck and a few others in the slammer as the treasonous pieces of shit they are and I can guarantee other outlets will sit up and take notice.
Putin, et al have figured it out. What’s at the bottom of the asset barrel – USEFUL IDIOTS. They got lots of ’em to do their dirty work with bull shite in social media. It’s like 45. Stroke his ego and he’ll do ANYTHING!
After useful idiots: unwitting assets: witting assets: full on agents. 45 has always been a witting asset.
History tends to repeat itself all over again. Good thing that the Americans working in the intelligence community and the FBI are doing a great job, as they have been awaiting for a while now.
