I love being a Democrat. I love parties, and we’re a Big Tent party, but the problem is that the tent is full of know-it-alls. And there are times when, not being a know-it-all, it drives me batsh*t crazy.
At moments like this, one of my favorite fantasies is to take a bunch of know-it-al-all Democrats and line them all up on the sideline of a football field, facing midfield. Regn I raise my arm, take a running 10 yard start, and run full speed the length of the field, slapping the bastards silly.
I’m having one of those moments now. From where I’m sitting, the Kamalanom is a national treasure. They gave her an impossible task. Take a standard 18-24 month election campaign, introduce yourself to voters, make the media rounds, push out actual policies and agendas, massage egos, and hit the stump all in 105 days. Man!, talk about trying to make a landing while you’re building the f*cking plane. And she’s done it.
And as she’s pulled this modern political miracle off, every step of the way these half-wit couch potato armchair strategists have been giving her a raqtion of sh*t. She’s not dishing Traitor tot enough, she’s not holding enough rallies, she’s not using the VP bully pulpit, she’s not reaching out to blacks and Hispanics enough, she’s not releasing enough policy statements, she’s not doing enough media, then she’s doing the wrong media! Jesus Christ! It’s like having your mother-in-law living on the sofa!
Look, let me say this as gently as I can. You’re morons, and you’re not helping. The woman is surrounded by experts who helped elect Obama in 2012 and Biden in 2020. I think they know their sh*t. Every time I see these clowns huffing-and-puffing, I can’t help but think of the guy who goes into a car lot, and then immediately kicks a tire so the salesman won’t think he’s a rube. Which makes the salesman smile like a wolf, because he knows this boob is about to pay for his daughter’s next year of college.
Here’s the reason I’m so pissed off. There are now a bloc of farther left activists and all around pain-in-the-asses who are outraged that Kamala Harris is sleeping with the enemy. They’re furious that Harris is appearing and even *gasp!* Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, and all those former GOP officials that are throwing rotten tomatoes at Traitor Tot. To hear these pinheads tell it, Harris is going around on bended knee begging these ruffians for their support.
Time for my favorite segment, Politics for Dummies. Chapter Two. The only reason for running a political campaign is to. get. the. most. f*cking. Votes! If that isn’t the whole point, then why are you running? Did you see Reagan kicking any of those turncoat Democrats out of bed in 1980?
Now, get this clear, children. Kamala Harris didn’t go anywhere, or ask anybody anything! There are lifelong Republicans who saw the threat to democracy that Trump poses, and offered to publicly endorse Harris for President and work on her behalf. Didn’t any of you loose screws ever hear the phrase The enemy of my enemy is my friend?
And now you want Harris to toss them out on their ear with a snarling, I can do this without the likes of you, thank you very much! Have you heard anybody telling you that this election will be won or lost on the margins? Well, here’s the 411 kiddies, that 20% of GOP voters who backed Nikki Haley in the primaries are the ultimate margin. And the last thing that Kamala Harris needs is to make them feel unwelcome, and have them just stay on the couch in November.
Fortunately Madame Vice President has the brains to go with her exalted position. You know where she’s going? Today she was in a county in PA where Nikki Haley had a 22% vote tally in the primaries. And she’s going with well known, familiar GOP faces to reinforce the Abandonment Permission Structure to get that 22% while Traitor Tot is busy insulting black voters in Philly.
Please, know-it-alls, I beg you. Cast your vote and shut up until November 6th. You were screaming your lungs out that Biden had to go when you weren’t even paying attention to the polls, the issues, or the dynamics of the race. And now you’re bitching because Harris isn’t following your came plan. What do you guys do between elections, go out to the airport and boo bad landings? Sit back, relax, and let the pros do their job.

Two votes for Harris and Walz from a red county in MN cast last Friday.(Hubby and myself). At least 10 other voters were there when we cast our votes. I hope they voted BLUE.
She’ll be getting another when early voting opens in NC tomorrow.
I’m having a bit of an Obama flashback to 2012 and the OMFG reaction to the first debate. I’ll admit that day to thinking Obama might not be at the top of his game since it was his freaking wedding anniversary. I don’t know how in the hell that didn’t get caught when the Commission on Presidential Debates was coordinating with the DNC and RNC for debate dates and sites but the ball sure as hell got dropped. Anyway Romney had the better night and everyone knew it. Panic set in with Democrats and Obama quickly returned to being Obama and a ‘chill people – I’ve got this’ attitude (and likely some choice words in private to advisors and Democratic leaders) and he sure as hell did.
Seeing what went down with Harris and Fox has me thinking Harris is made of the same stuff. Folks have been in a panic and frankly since this race shouldn’t even be close we’d be foolish not to have concerns. But watching Harris take it to Baier it seems like Harris was just waiting for the right time to go on offense. Baier tried to smile through her slapping him down and calling him out. Maybe he thought she’d be intimidated. I think he got a dose of what many a defendant and their lawyer got in court back when Harris was a prosecutor. A no nonsense fighter who had facts and truth to bring to bear and who wasn’t going to put up with someone trying to keep her from bringing that out.
I don’t know how the evening lineup at Fox is spinning this but one thing I’ll bet they are NOT doing is encouraging viewers to go online and watch the entire unedited interview! I don’t think Fox will want any part of Harris sitting down with them after today. Hell, they are probably thanking their lucky stars that Trump blew off the debate they wanted to have at the end of the month. Harris was on board lest we forget. SHE isn’t the least bit afraid of them and their “style” and now they know for sure she can give back more than she takes from their attempts to sling bullshit.
I wonder how Trump’s reacting right now? My guess is not good. HE after all got his ass handed to him by Harris and didn’t like the idea of them having that interview in the first place. It could be an epic night of tweets or whatever the hell Trump calls posts he still puts up on his own Truth Social site.

I received my ballot in the mail today, and it includes Kennedy’s name. This raises concerns about potential irregularities. Biden’s name is absent from the ballot, and Kennedy’s should be as well. There seems to be a pattern of dishonesty among Democrats.
