The MAGA brethren have convincingly sided with, as you put it “… a coke-sniffing, Studio 54 going, draft dodger…”; well chosen descriptors, amongst others such as ‘rapist’. How gullible his brethren are. The elixir they drink, from their ‘runneth over cups’ must be perceptually and addictively way better, to them, than the toxic ‘gin-spits and kerosene’ it actually is. Hopefully both the ‘leader of their cult’ and what he concocts and serves, for them to sip on, will one day be sufficiently toxic for them to see how hoodwinked they were, and secure, a truer and better reality. If they are so emotionally unstable now, what will they do when he’s either arrested or just not re-elected? Whatever will they do?

Either way, the statement about knowing a ‘tree’, or person’s character, and authentic religious beliefs by their actions, is ABSOLUTELY TRUE. As Rachel Maddow keeps saying: watch what they do…not what they say. One of the main points, recorded in EVERY gospel, Jesus reportedly brought up time and again. He railed on the Jewish religious leaders, who claimed to follow the commandments, but instead treated the poor badly, while enriching themselves. A common problem in every ‘faith’. Just look at all the rich preachers in America.
Those two women need to be in therapy! Too bad we closed most of the hospitals that would have treated people like this, which is the reason we have so damned many people like this today! Carol…doubt any psychiatrists would take them on as patients, since it’s more likely they need to be deprogrammed as members of a cult. Having run psychiatric assessments and admissions at Duke, and a large private psy hospital, I found most doctors walk away from personality disorders, and issues that can’t be fixed with a pill. Maybe if they were strapped down to watch Rachel Maddow on Monday nights, and banned from social media, there may be some chance of turning some people around. I’m afraid Paul Simon was right in his song the Boxer: men hear what they want to hear and disregard the rest, ‘men’ meaning most people.
