It’s a furrin name, you see, so we should mock it and distrust her as not really being American — if you define American as stupid, uneducated, inbred and racist. Trump will find some takers for this even in his last days, but never lose sight of this fact: he has done nothing to expand his base in the time he’s been in office. He has only played to the hardcore Trumpkins and he lost some of the ones who voted for him in 2016. This race may end up depending on how many of the first-timers have woken up. Between the votes of the disillusioned and a good turn out of Democrats, Trump could go down in flames spectacularly. That is greatly to be wished on a lot of levels, most of all, that he can’t dispute a resounding Biden victory.
