Actually, Trump made a fool out of himself, like always, but Gavin Newsom pointed it out and therein lies a comedic tale. Trump is in the habit, as well you know, of making up stories. Then he believes the stories as though they were real. That’s what took place when Trump was talking to a conference of House Republicans and he brought up the old saw of some big water faucet in the northwest, which he believes supplies the State of California.
Given that water in California literally does NOT come from the Pacific Northwest, we’re not so sure the President passed his cognitive exam. https://t.co/ZCLOj0YAfn pic.twitter.com/iACvftGQkA

That wasn’t his only whopper.
Trump to House Republicans: "Most of you are in this business longer than me. That makes me smarter than you. Because look where I am, right? No it doesn't. But I wish you could explain to me what the hell is going on with the mind of the public because we have the right policy."
Oh yeah, the policy is terrific. All the policies. Right now foreign policy is especially wonderful and delightful. But it’s nice to know that Donald is worried about the midterms.

Huh? His dementia is clearly there for all to see.
Newsom and Mark Kelly are my favorites for 2028 so far.
