Disclaimer: The thoughts in this piece are strictly my own and not necessarily those of PolitiZoom. Did any of you folks see the articles about Marjorie Taylor Greene’s farce of a “town hall”? You had to register to be there, and questions had to be submitted *in advance*. What kind of foolery is that? Letting you pick and choose questions to abuse people in answering not answering questions? Attendees being dragged out by the police for protesting? That would be under First Amendment rights!
Here’s an example of her deliberate cruelty: Some questions, submitted in advance, were met with scorn by Greene. For instance, one attendee asked how Greene would protect taxpayers from President Donald Trump’s economic whims. She replied, “Poor Christina. Poor, poor Christina. I am sure Christina you think you’re pretty smart, but the reality is you bring being brainwashed by whatever source of news you listen to. [sic]” What kind of answer is THAT??? It’s not an answer, it’s an attack! And there was more of it!
No wonder she wanted questions submitted in advance. Is she not smart enough to be able to answer off the cuff in a real QA session? It certainly seems so. That’s not a “town hall”. That’s a cruel lecture. Protestors being dragged out by the police? That’s censorship. A couple of those protestors spent the night *in jail* for some things that should have been a ticket or a misdemeanor. One woman was in there for a “curse word”. Get gone! That’s ridiculous? And the others who spent the night in jail were tasered for resisting. TASERED. For protesting. Really?
Again, they were removed for using their First Amendment rights. It made her look like she was so scared of protestors that she went overboard on having them removed from the “town hall”. This woman is a coward. She abuses the people who submitted questions to make herself look good. But she won’t answer live questions, and she won’t allow protestors? Yea, no. To repeat, that’s not a “town hall”. That’s a cruel lecture. And it’s worthless. She can crow about “I was brave enough to speak to my constituents even though I’m a Republican and I was told not to do these.” Mmmmm, no, she wasn’t. Not even close.
She’s embarrassing herself every time she opens her mouth. She’s so far up tRump’s a** she can’t see daylight. She’s incapable of speaking unless she has a script. She can speak nothing on her own except heckling Democrats. Remember what she did during Biden’s speech? That’s pitiful. I know that was a couple of years ago, but I bet everyone remembers her behavior. She does very well at spouting stupid things to interrupt someone, but can’t take being interrupted herself.
Let me give you a quote from the newspaper the day after the “town hall”. “The altercations dominated the town hall, which also attracted dozens of demonstrators outside the event for hours, waving signs and protesting Greene’s MAGA stances. Greene, meanwhile, thanked the roughly 30 law enforcement officers for the aggressive approach. “I’m glad they got thrown out. That’s exactly what I wanted to see happen,” she said after the roughly hourlong event. “This isn’t a political rally or a protest. I held a town hall tonight. You know who was out of line? The protesters.” Really? Wow, you’re arrogant.
So now you’ve been introduced to the “real” Marjory Taylor Greene. She’s a nuisance, *and* an idiot. I have no idea how she got elected again. I’m embarrassed to live in the same state. She spouts poison every time she opens her mouth, a MAGA-ite to an extreme. At least I’ve been fortunate enough to never have a chance to run into her. I’d probably be shocked speechless! I’m told this is a deep fake but I’m not so sure. Both in southern IL and later in WV I found myself in places where a look around at the average guy and gal there gave me a “How the hell did I let myself wind up HERE?” feeling. And having some gal looking like this look me up and down and ask if maybe I wanted to “go somewhere” would make my skin crawl even back when I was young in southern IL and flat-out wasted! So even though I read somewhere this is a photoshop job I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if someday someone runs across her pretty much just like that and posts it. And can back up that it’s real:
When you (or at least me) run across this in real life and have an actual invite to “go somewhere” it’s hard not to envision a near future of “pissing razor blades” (the Clap) or cancker sores (Syphillis)

I guess I would have been tased for asking: hey Ms. Greene…how much money did you make off of insider trading when your master told you to buy?
I wonder if he said anything about easing the tariffs, causing the market to rebound? Doubt I’d gotten the whole question out…zzzzap!

They say the protesters are paid yet they have no problem with musk paying people for votes. There was once a time when a representative from your district represented everyone didnt matter democrat or republican or independent your representative represented all of you. However, in today’s world if you’re in the party opposite and you attend a town hall then you shouldn’t be there or you’re paid or at worse you’re referred to as a rable rouser, that’s an old southern expression. They have their rules rhey lie,cheat,steal do whatever they want and if you disagree you’re a hater and in some respects a paid hater. Look at the word trump. Those charges were trumped up that means they are false or phony. Even his name knows his character,enough said
Hypocrisy is their religion. It allows them to do evil to the powerless and innocent, while shielding them from consequences and conscience.
