I did a slow burn with this next clip and with the historical perspective of the GOP’s attitudes towards women, included right beneath it. Well do I remember the wonderful Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the fact that a woman like her made it possible for a then-younger gal like me to get a credit card. Remember when that wasn’t doable, my friends?

For reasons which are unfathomable, Fox News and the GOP really wants to alienate women in 2024. Is Rupert having a nervous breakdown these days, anybody know? I ask because it seems me there’s a death wish over there, what with putting John Eastman on the air to redux the Big Lie the other day and now this. This is straight out of an SNL skit.

That is the size of it, what you got there. As a matter of fact, once you’ve seen this clip and read the tweet beneath it, you have a solid working knowledge of what makes the Republican party tick and you don’t need much else.

And yes, let’s all “like” Donald Trump. The fact that he said all this is immaterial, right?

Speaking of more SNL skits, this one pretty much wrote itself.

My punchline has always been that “a woman who votes Republican is like a chicken that votes for Colonel Sanders.” And for the first time in American history, a man who is a “rapist” who has been found civilly liable for rape, is running for president and leading all others for the top spot on the GOP ticket.

You may recall  what Madonna said on this subject after the 2016 election.

“Women hate women. That’s what I think it is. Women’s nature is not to support other women. It’s really sad. Men protect each other, and women protect their men and children. Women turn inward and men are more external.”

She even has friends who voted for Trump, who told her “they would rather have a successful businessman running the country than a woman who lies.” Madonna’s thoughts? “Just absurd. But people don’t have faith in government as we know it. In a way, it makes sense that Donald Trump is the president. Because money rules. Not intelligence, not experience, not a moral compass, not the ability to make wise decisions, not the ability to think of the future of the human race.”

Horrific to contemplate but this is who Fox News thinks it’s talking to.

Help keep the site running, consider supporting.

  1. Yes Ursula I too remember when I couldn’t get a credit card without my husband’s signature even though I had a good job. Also I had to quit work at my 6th month of pregnancy due to laws. I was talking to a “church lady” in 2016 & she admitted she was voting for the disgusting filthy talking dangerous guy because speaking of Hillary she said “there’s just something about her” !! Of course that something was the fact she’s a woman and Republicans won’t vote for a woman for president. That is still true. Nikki Haley has no chance.

  2. Madonna? The one who could not prostitute herself too far just to get her sh*tty voice and sh*ttier dancing out there to destroy everyone’s ears and eyes? That Madonna? Why in the f*ck is she even being brought up at all let alone her silly blatherings from after the 2016 election?

Ursula, there are better people to be quoting. Much better than that twat.

  3. If women ever decided to use their natural instincts for organizing and uniting as a group…the gop would be toast. By the way spike I like some of Madonna’s songs. The Ray of Light Cd is good. Songs like Frozen and The Power of Goodbye are memorable. I may be 70, but I can still dance to her and Rhianna anytime. Just saying. Lighten up friend. As I say to my kids: remember this is a marathon not a sprint. Keep your passion and fighting spirit, which drives you, but balance is key.
