Pence was in attendance at the White House Rose Garden superspreader event doing a victory dance on Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s grave and celebrating the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett. He may have contracted the virus. In any event, having been traced to a contagious event like that, according to CDC guidelines he should be in quarantine. Obviously that’s not happening. He didn’t even want plexiglas at the VP debate.
I guess you have to give it up to Mike Pence, he’ll take the tenets of Trumpism to the grave — literally perhaps. The Trump cult kool-aide is COVID flavored.

Pence is as an old saying goes a triumph of the embalmer’s art. I didn’t know about pink-eye being a symptom of Covid but if he’s got it and it’s only a matter of time before he’s reported as positive maybe that fly knows something we don’t. Seriously though, I’d sure as hell like to know whether Pence pulled the same stunt Trump did and arrived too late for a proper test from the Cleveland Clinic folks and they had to take him at his word that he was negative. Because given how smoothly he lies (over and over again just like he’s done all along) despite his professed “Christian” faith (isn’t one of those commandments the try to shove down our throats about NOT lying?) his word is worth less than nothing.
He avoids John 8:42-47 where Jesus calls the Pharisees “children of the devil”, ” who was a murderer & liar from the beginning”, who Jesus described as the “father of all lies”. Guess we know what his pet fly was there for, to remind him his true daddy was watching.

I can’t see how I even implied Pence has any honor. On the contrary I pointed out he LIES – both last night and over and over again in the past. He’s just smoother about it than Trump because he does it so calmly while keeping a straight face but he’s a stone cold liar and I find that particularly ironic given how big a deal he makes about his faith.

Because you seem to be uniformed: conjunctivitis (“Pinkeye”) is a symptom of the virus. We don’t know about Pence’s virus tests, outside of what he claims, but we know he’s spent a lot fo time with people who were contagious at the time he was with them.
The virus is a VERY serious condition: just ask the 214,000 people who have ALREADY died because Pence and his boss refuse to do anything.

Retired optometrist here. And not only is that eye red, the pupil in that eye is much larger than the other. Simple conjuntivitis wouldn’t do that. And an iritis would make the pupil smaller rather than larger, so it’s not that either unless the eye doc has started him on dilating drops for something like iritis. Dilating drops are used to set an inflamed iris at rest. Upon zooming in on certain photos taken tonight, it really looks like he either has “ciliary flush” (goes along with iritis, AKA anterior uveitis) or even a little pool of blood (hyphema) settling in the lower anterior chamber between the cornea and iris. Hyphema can result from an iritis. Hemorrhages as well as clotting can also go along with COVID.

The test was negative means nothing. Pence used an inaccurate instant Abbott test or was not tested recently. Trump has severe Covid lung (ARDS) as gleened from anonymous sources inside WH. It will come out that Pence has Covid.
I’ve never seen a case of conjunctivitis like this unless it’s presented in pre-symptomatic COVID-19 cases.
