You have to admit it. When the GOP lost in 2020, at least they had a plan. It might have been a piss poor, ill conceived, doomed to failure plan, but at least it was a plan. And now, they’re trying again, but they haven’t learned a goddamn thing.
In the summer and fall of 2020, when Trump started bitching and whining about massive voter fraud and a stolen election, everybody thought that Traitor Tot was simply setting up a convenient way of pissing off in January without conceding defeat. Gotta admit, it fits the character of the man like a glove.
People were stunned when, days after the election was called, Trump campaign inspired lawsuits started popping up in pretty much every contested battleground state, claiming election irregularities or voter fraud. Because the suits were largely frivolous, and without legal merit, they were quickly shot down. But the shock-and-awe of the audacity sent shock waves through the system.
And now they’re putting the band back together for 2024. But because they’re imbeciles, they’re forgetting the fact that the first time, they had the element of surprise going for them. This time, like a baseball catcher who gets careless, they’re telegraphing the pitch to the runner on second base. And oh, so much has changed.
For starters, in 2020 the GOP held total control of the AZ and MI Governorships and state houses, as well as PA. Now the Democrats control the Governors mansion in AZ and PA, and the Democrats have flipped MI completely. So especially in MI, which is a critical state for Trump to win, there won’t be any legislative nonsense if he loses again.
But like I said, at least in 2020 the GOP had a plan in place, no matter how futile, but it was secret. But this time, while Traitor Tot peddles conspiracy theories about mail in ballots being rife with voter fraud, like a kid who already knows he’s getting an X-Box 1 for his birthday, he’s already bragging about the games he’s going to play.
For instance, in Georgia the Trombie laden assembly named a new five man election integrity board that had a majority three MAGA members seated on it. They waited until within 90 days of election day to try to ram through a series of new rules that would throw the vote and counting process into chaos. Unfortunately for the GOP, they shot their wad too early. Trump called out the three MAGAt members by name at a rally, and one was actually in attendence to take a bow. Now Governor Brian Kemp is asking the state Attorney General if he has the power to fire and replace him. And because they jumped the gun, a covey of Democratic and voters rights groups filed a lawsuit in court, seeking a temporary injunction against the new rules changes that would invalidate them past election day.
But it’s not just Georgia. In other critical swing states GOP howler monkeys are already going to court, filing preliminary challenges to state voting rolls and state electoral board policies and rules. And again, Democratic and state lawyers are right there to challenge them in court, hopefully paving the way to a free and clear election day.
The dumb asses don’t seem to realize that they’ve lost the element of surprise. Now when Traitor Tot rails against the evils of mail-in voting as being rife with voter fraud, even while his own campaign begs GOP voters to use early mail-in ballots, everybody knows what’s up. He’s setting the table to once again legally dispute the votes, and turn the election into a constitutional crisis for his hand picked Supreme Court.
But he’s a moron. Because the entire goal of the constitutional crisis is to throw the ultimate power behind his friendly House of Representatives. But that won’t work this time. Because the Electoral College Reform Act took his toys away. It clarified the Vice President’s role as purely ceremonial in tallying the votes, and changed the rules to make it more difficult to challenge a states vote count, and making it impossible for one House member to force debate with only one Senator backing the motion. Besides, Kamala Harris is the Vice President, and it’s unthinkable that she’d torpedo her own vote certification.
And now the Democrats are flexing their muscles and putting the GOP on notice. They just announced a new Election Protection Fund Super PAC, seeded with a healthy $10 million to use to fund shock troops of lawyers to surge to contest GOP lawsuits as well as to file lawsuits against GOP overreach.
There’s an old military adage, Generals always fight the next war based on the tactics of the last war. In 2020 the GOP depended on shock in filing lawsuits in order to throw the state electoral certifications into chaos and delay, creating a constitutional crisis for the GOP House to decide. This time they’ve tipped their hand early, and the Demorats are ready to deal with their specious claims as they come up. Game. Set. Match.
I thank you for the privilege of your time.
It’s always best to alert the authorities when, where, and how you plan to rob the bank…you know in case you need a police escort during your getaway. And I though I knew what the word ‘stupid’ meant. Well at least I’m not the AG struggling over ‘suggest’.

If only someone would/could explain to MAGA morons that, even while Trump rails against mail-in voting as “being rife with fraud,” that–for some inexplicable reason–Trump himself has relied on mail-in voting to cast his ballots in the Florida presidential preference primary (back in February, as I recall) and the state’s recent primary for other elective offices. How can Trump claim that mail-in voting can be “rife with fraud” yet HE relies on it for his own voting? Either he trusts the system to count his vote or he only votes in races in which he actually can say his vote won’t actually matter (not sure about Florida but, here in Alabama, there have been ballots with only one candidate’s name in a particular contest; the candidate’s obviously going to win because, even with a blank space left for a write-in, it’s pretty inconceivable that enough people will write in the same name for that person to win).
There you go again Joseph using rational thought for a group that abandoned that road long ago.
If their old techniques get stale, they will repeat them (as they usually do), and then they’ll just come up with LOUDER lies.
The same blatant stupidity was clear when they published Project 2025. That piece of seditionist shit should have remained a deep dark secret till after the (supposed) election of Trump the beneficiary. But no, they were so pumped up by Biden’s apparent weakness that they allowed that arrogance to over-rule their tiny intelligence. Publish they did and as a result they’re damned.
