Me thinks that Donald Trump is so used to telling this same old “Sir” story over and over again, just with different characters, that it didn’t occur to him how absurd it would sound when he told MAGAs that his own wife called him “Sir.” And maybe she does. Maybe she’s his employee and not his wife, which would make sense.

This was not a good move to make because at some point there may be a Melania sighting and if and when a reporter ever has a chance to talk to her, this is bound to be the first question asked, “Do you call your husband “Sir?”

I honestly think the “Sir” just slipped out. He’s so used to rattling off these fake stories that it momentarily slipped his “mind” that he was talking about his own wife and how weird this would sound.

Not that weirdness and Melania Trump are strangers. Her former BFF and biographer tells the tale of how Melania needed a bigger plane to fly from D.C. to New York to get her hair done. Whut?

According to [Stephanie] Winston-Wolkoff, Melania felt “constrained” by the plane that was dedicated to the FLOTUS’s use to get her from DC to NYC to do important FLOTUS work like getting her hair done, and to see some “friends”.

The primary feud was between Melania Trump and Lindsay Reynolds, her former chief of staff. Winston-Wolkoff heard about the feud through a text while sitting in a press conference. In what was described as a HUGE POINT OF CONTENTION between the East Wing (FLOTUS) and West Wing (“Jackass”), Melania fully believed she deserved a bigger plane and one with damned wifi! (The trip to NYC could not possibly take more than 45 minutes, could it? Not if you didn’t have to through baggage, all that). Although she also used the plane to fly to Palm Beach for spa weekends at Mar-a-Lago, which is obviously a longer flight.

Eventually, it all got worked out through a trade and Melania got her larger dedicated jet. Melania gave up a room in the East Wing (space is a premium) normally used for gift-wrapping (which is embarrassing to have a room dedicated to such a task anyway), to the military, which would then agree to give her a bigger plane. Except, no one told Melania about the deal (it was made behind her back by her chief of staff and the military). Stephanie was furious at the time because no one should go behind Melania’s back, but space in the East Wing is at a premium and Reynolds gave it away in exchange for the military giving Melania a bigger plane.

Melania was given the use of the Boeing C-40 Clipper, which is basically a souped-up 737. For overseas trips she does use a larger plane, the plane normally used by Mike Pence.

Melania’s been out of sight for months now, but not out of mind. Look for bookies to start laying odds on when she’ll appear next. I, for one, do not believe she will be out on the campaign trail shilling for hubby.

  1. I too have a lot of trouble believing this one. It’s not a stretch to imagine Trump having this ass backwards – as in HIM calling “Melanie” by a title – Mistress, As in Mistress Melania. Many a powerful executive is a submissive, handing over control for a while to someone who will ritually humiliate them as a break from their day-to-day responsibilities. Most of the time such rich/powerful executives are men. I understand some of Melania’s shoots from her days as a “model” included some racy stuff that while not BDSM might have bordered on it.

I for one can easily imagine her in full Dominatrix regalia complete with a whip in one hand and a paddle in the other. And Trump strapped to a St. Andrews Cross with his little mushroom headed “junk” stuffed into one of those steel devices (A CBT or cock-ball-torture) with something or other (there’s something that expands once inserted that when you turn a rod makes it open up/expand but I can’t recall what it’s called) shoved up his ass. And a ball gag in his mouth whenever he fails to convince her by meaningfully thanking her (as she inflicts pain and humiliation on him) using the title “Mistress Melania.”

No, I don’t have any trouble imaging THAT at all. It’s a helluva lot easier to believe than her calling him Sir! Or other ego boosting names he might want to have heard at certain times that I won’t get into because someone reading this might not have a barrel of Brain Bleach handy.

  2. I wonder how much it cost taxpayers for all that flying around for salon and spa days, and for a bigger plane. The thoughtlessness and waste of the tRump grifting mob.

  3. I really doubt Trump’s followers (not even his female followers) would have any problem with the notion of Melania calling him “sir.” I mean, most of them have these ass-backwards views of marriage and women’s rights, in which the wife must ALWAYS defer to the husband (who is, after all, the ordained head of the family). I’ve always found it odd that these same people would actually vote for a woman–especially one who also seems to hold these “my husband is my lord and master” idea (which also raises questions as to why the husband isn’t running for office and allowing his wife to do it).
Even if a reporter did manage to ask Melania about it–and actually got an answer refuting the whole idea–it wouldn’t change Trump’s followers’ minds (what little remains of their mad cow disease-riddled minds). These are the same people who could listen to Trump giving a speech and then be shown video of a previous speech where he said the exact opposite and it wouldn’t make them think of Trump as a liar or opportunist (or someone who didn’t know what the hell he was talking about in the first place).
