Wow. I must say that this surprises even me. I would have given Trump credit for evolving to about eight years old but far be it from me to question either the professional or real world judgement of Mary Trump, who is both a psychologist and a member of the dysfunctional Trump family. The black sheep of the Trump clan has lifted the lid on why she believes the MAGA leader is “so damaged, so needy, and so grasping.”
“We need to understand the dangers of having such a damaged, depraved deviant in the Oval Office,” Mary Trump, the daughter of Donald Trump’s late brother Fred Trump Jr., said in a video uploaded to YouTube on Thursday.
The progressive-leaning scion of the Trump family, herself a psychologist, went on to suggest the president’s “black hole of need” owes largely to the trauma she believes he sustained as a child at the hands of his father Fred Sr., who she described as “a patriarchal, authoritarian sociopath.”
As evidence that President Donald Trump’s resulting “need for affirmation” has left him “incapable of growing, learning or evolving” since the age of 3, she pointed to his acceptance of global soccer organization FIFA’s inaugural Peace Prize at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts—a venue the MAGA leader has since renamed after himself.
Trump’s receipt of the award in December, which critics say was invented entirely for him, followed his bitter disappointment at being passed over for last year’s Nobel Peace Prize.
Trump loves getting awards and it doesn’t matter if they don’t exist. He claimed once that he was Man Of The Year in Michigan, an award supposedly generated by the automobile industry and awarded to him, and it never happened. So he has no problems with made up awards.
Mary Trump goes on to opine that Donald will likely never get the Nobel Peace Prize while he continues to extrajudicially blow up Venezuelan boats and let American children starve. Sounds right.
And now we know we have a three-year-old in charge of the nuclear codes.
Not just American children are starving, but remember USAID? He’s responsible for international deaths. Not to mention depriving Ukraine of weapons.
And remember how many Americans died of Covid as a result of his mishandling and criminal indifference? He’s responsible for the loss of many, many lives already. I keep asking, how many will die this time around?
The Nobel organisation has a strict policy regarding the award of its prizes, which is that they never go to anyone who actively campaigns to receive one. Trump disqualified himself long ago.
Well, if you look back at some of the controversies facing a number of the Organization’s various recipients, the who “never go to anyone who actively campaigns to receive one” seems a bit down on the list of actual historical awards that were bestowed. For instance, this year’s winner came under a buttload of scrutiny for winning the award as Nobel’s stated intent was “the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, the abolition or reduction of standing armies, and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses” but Maria Corina Machado’s win was largely seen as winning for an internal political matter (there was also criticism that she’d invited foreign intervention to topple Maduro and offered broad support to Benjamin Netanyahu and his Likud Party–actually going so far as to compare Venezuela’s struggles with those of Israel) and, of course, her decision to “dedicate” her award to Drumpf was definitely not within Nobel’s intentions.
