All because of a decision he made, a choice that has made a lot of MAGA really pissed off. They are turning on him. Maybe this means, after all, that we will finally get rid of him. The expression on his face after he murdered two people was horrendous. Now? He’s well on the way to losing that sparkle that made him so attractive to them. Respect to Raw Story:
Kyle Rittenhouse, the conservative cause célèbre acquitted in the 2020 Kenosha shootings, is suddenly persona non grata in parts of the MAGA movement after publicly throwing his weight behind embattled U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie ahead of Kentucky’s May 19 Republican primary.
Huh. Well, now. He’s supporting someone decent, whom Trump has made his enemy, because of one thing. Trump is trying to “primary” him, and we should sincerely hope it does not work. Massie isn’t completely horrible, for a Republican. But he is still horrible for Democrats. This is not a surprise. I’m going to stop there to deflect the treatment I received the last time about mentioning I like Massie.
Speaking May 16 at a “day at the range” event in Burlington, Kentucky, Rittenhouse called Massie “the greatest congressman, I believe, in a very long time,” brushing aside attacks on the Kentucky Republican as “lies.“
He praised Massie for voting conservative “92% of the time,” adding that “the 8% he isn’t, he’s voting to expose pedophiles” — a nod to the Epstein Files Transparency Act Massie championed and that Trump hated.
The endorsement put Rittenhouse on a collision course with President Donald Trump, who recruited retired Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein to challenge Massie after the congressman voted against Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill.”
Exposing pedophiles, that‘s for sure. We’re still waiting on the rest of the files. Congress has already pulled in the Clintons to testify when they were on the absolute periphery of the Epstein saga. They wanted an excuse, found one, and got nothing. They haven’t called anyone else in yet. That’s … probably not unusual, considering other names we’ve heard. It says a lot. It says nothing good about Congress, quite the opposite.
And the OBBA, the BUB that passed thanks to Joni Ernst. Massie saw what it was going to do. He did his share trying to stop it. But we got too little, too late. It went through. It’s a bloated monstrosity of pain for everyone in America except for the gazillionaires, Congress, and Trump’s ‘cabinet’. All for tax breaks to become permanent for the upper 1% that is standing behind him. They need to have their feet kicked out from under them and be forced to see what is happening to the country. They make their money off us, after all.
The backlash from MAGA influencers was swift and savage.
“Wow! Kyle Rittenhouse turned out to be a complete d—–bag, we should’ve left him to the liberal wolves in 2020!” posted MAGA commentator Vince Langman.
For his part, Rittenhouse responded to Langman with a screenshot of Langman’s previous praise for Rittenhouse.
Pro-Trump account Catturd piled on: “Remember when I warned everyone about him, and everybody threw a fit years ago — it’s tiring being so right all the time.”
Former Trump attorney Jenna Ellis broke ranks to defend Rittenhouse, calling the pile-on “predictably gross behavior for what has become a godless populist movement.” She added: “These morons ARE the leftist wolves, just in ‘MAGA’ clothing.”
BOOM. Just in MAGA clothing. That’s harsh, and well said. Everyone is piling on because Rittenhouse supports Massie. There is nothing wrong with that, except for MAGA. One person, out of all the primaries across the US, and they are throwing a temper tantrum. It would behoove them to take a closer look at the people Trump is trying to “primary”. Maybe the opposition isn’t worth the ads we see, especially the attack ads. Mayb e the incumbent is better than the opposition. But we can keep saying this, but it’s MAGA, and they don’t think.
