There is major butt-hurt, even downright anger out there in Trump World. MAGAs just loved the idea of a gold (colored – not actual gold plated) Trump phone and loads of them shelled out money in advance to make sure they were the first to be able to brandish them to their pals. The problem? They haven’t gotten their damned phones! Nor it seems are they likely to anytime soon. If ever.
Sorry but I’m going to have lots of fun laughing at these idiot’s expense. Trump had a webpage created touting the greatest cell phone ever. When he said ‘No one’s ever seen phones like this’ he was actually telling the truth. Sort of a broken clock being accurate twice a day whether intentionally or not. No phones have been manufactured, much less delivered. Hell, it doesn’t seem like there’s even a factory set to start making them. For what it’s worth (or not) if some factory does start producing something we can be sure it will be crap. That’s actually something we could look forward to in and of itself except Fredo 1 and Fredo 2 (Don Jr. and Eric) probably can’t even get a manufacturer lined up.
In any case, as The Mirror US reports there are unhappy MAGAs who shelled out deposits of $100 (some probably paid the full price) for their super-duper gold Trump phone. More importantly they are going public with their displeasure. It’s easy to understand why they’ve run out of patience:
President Donald Trump’s sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, announced Trump Mobile in June 2025, unveiling the T1 Phone, a gold-colored smartphone that was scheduled for release later that year.
The phones were delayed by the government shutdown and pushed to January 2026, but at the time of writing, they still haven’t been released.
Using the shutdown as an excuse? Give me a freaking break. Even if that was legitimate this whole thing started almost a year ago. That’s more than enough time to have selected a manufacturer at least. The fact Trump and his sons are ghosting those who shelled out money for one of these phones is telling them something they haven’t wanted to admit. Trump suckered them out of their money and the lack of even meaningless platitudes as updates means their money is GONE. So, as I said they are speaking out:
Several MAGA supporters are sharing their frustrations online, posting videos to ask where their phones are. “Hey, Trump supporter here. This goes out to Don Jr. and Eric. Where the f–ks my phone?” asked one person on TikTok.
The man said he ordered four Trump phones over the summer and even encouraged his son to order some. “Now we can’t get any f–king updates on them!”
Well, at least we can enjoy their folly. If you were wondering, yes, their complaints have been noticed but social media isn’t exactly giving them love and understanding. Nope, outright mockery is more like it:
The man was mocked online for supposedly “falling for” another “scam” by the Trump family. “Does anyone feel bad that these idiots fell for Trump’s umpteenth scam?” asked one person on X.
“I’m sorry, I have ZERO SYMPATHY for you,” wrote another person. “He’s nothing but a con man….”
Others got more specific, noting good ole fine print on Trump’s website that says making a deposit “does not guarantee that a Device will be produced or made available for purchase.” So Trump has gotten himself a nice spot of cash because MAGAs are a bunch of dumbasses. Literal asshats although at least they got a freaking hat for their money. It turns out some 600,000 people shelled out deposits for their ‘golden’ Trump phone. That’s a cool sixty million bucks Trump has fleeced out of his followers. Snowballs will remain actual snowballs in hell before these goobers get a Trump phone. He’s gotten his money and the terms are quite specific about him not being obligated to actually provide what he promised:
The Trump Mobile website states: “A preorder deposit provides only a conditional opportunity if Trump Mobile later elects, in its sole discretion, to offer the Device for sale. A deposit is not a purchase, does not constitute acceptance of an order, does not create a contract for sale, does not transfer ownership or title interest, does not allocate or reserve specific inventory, and does not guarantee that a Device will be produced or made available for purchase.”
Keep in mind the history with this venture. At first the phones were going to be “Made In The USA” and that went by the wayside. That promised was walked back by saying they’d be made with “American values” which is Trump-Speak for ‘Trump values meaning as cheaply as possible – enough to somehow more or less semi-function through any warranty period. As for the item as pictured to would be Trump phone owners there’s language that says “Final product appearance and specifications may vary.” Gee, ya think?
The bottom line (literally) is that for those who sent in deposits their money is GONE. I’m sure more than a few of those six hundred thousand people that got suckered by Trump (and some put in orders for more than one phone so they’re out more than a hundred bucks!) could use that money these days. Yes, there’s a statement on the website about the goober’s money being ‘refundable.’ Sure. In another place it says “Offer subject to change or cancellation at any time. Additional terms apply.” You can be sure which clause Trump will cite when people demand their money back.
The one good thing we might find in all this is that Trump suckered so many people. In an election where gerrymandered districts will cut more Republican’s margin for error than Democrats a thousand votes, or even a few hundred in multiple places around the country could make a big difference. One that Trump won’t like. I keep saying we don’t need MAGAs to vote for Democrats. Not voting at all is almost as good and this is one more example of Trump pissing on his most fervent supporters and expecting them to just take it. This is an awful lot of people that can make an awful lot of noise that Trump doesn’t need added to the mix.
Friends, I know everyone begs you for money. I promise, among all those asking for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest working. We’re a group of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. The rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. I have ZERO sympathy for these people! tRump’s sons Don Jr. and Eric are smarter than the people who ordered these phones, and that’s not saying much!
The more MAGA supporters get disillusioned, the better. It’s way past time they woke up to him, but better late than never.
