If I was going to do a scam like this, I would somehow change the audio to a basso profundo voice. That would have made this a decent piece of theater. The script is still stupid, but at least the theatrics would have upgraded the effect. If you don’t know Julie Green, she is besties with Eric Trump. Eric appears a lot on her podcast and she assures him that Daddy will be just fine. Today Green announced that she “allowed God to inhabit her body.” Oh, so do I honey. And I want you all to know, this is GAWD typing these words! YES! GAWD writes these blogs! Now if I only was ditzy enough to convince myself that was true, I could form the Church of Ursula, right here. But listen to this whack a mole until I finally flip out to that level.

I am told that this woman has a huge following. That surprises me only because she is so ineffectual. She prayed over Doug Mastriano when he ran for governor of Pennsylvania. You saw how that worked out. And you’re going to positively love what she said about King Charles before he was crowned. Rolling Stone:

Consider the case of the royal formerly known as Prince Charles, recently crowned king of England. The preacher Julie Green shared video “prophesies” earlier this year foretelling of a “major scandal” involving “Charles and the Queen’s sudden death.” Green’s claim was horrific: “From what the Lord was showing me, [Charles] will actually have his mother murdered.”

Like any skilled fortune teller, Green kept the outlandish prediction vague and difficult to disprove. But the “prophet,” overplayed her hand. She also insisted that there would be a move of God to foil the power-hungry Charles: “He will never get that Crown he killed for.”

Umm….I saw it on his head on Coronation Day. But the late Queen isn’t the only one to meet sudden demise. Look at who else Green said would be gone.

Green has also prophesied, in videos and in statements posted to her ministry website, that 2022 will be a “Year of Vengeance,” with God taking out, with his Angel of Death, major figures in U.S. government including Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Shumer, and Mitch McConnell.

They were all above ground last I know. Mitch zones out from time to time but he’s still here and walking under his own power.

Chief Justice John Roberts, Green said, would be pilloried for plotting with sex criminals, insisting: “God is going to show exactly how he was a part of Epstein Island.” (Fact check: There is no evidence whatever that Roberts consorted with the sex-criminal Jeffrey Epstein.) “He’s going to be exposed in front of the whole world,” Green vowed. “Then he’ll be tried for treason.”

And what about President Joe Biden? According to Green, Biden is already dead. “God said he is actually not alive anymore. There is somebody else playing his part,” Green said in a February interview. This actor, she said, is being directed, via an earpiece, by Barack Obama, who has corruptly orchestrated a de facto third term. […]

But Green insisted that Obama is not going to die, however, because “he is the Antichrist.” Green believes in the rapture, a moment when many evangelical Christians expect to be delivered to heaven in advance of the great tribulation — leaving Jesus to contend with the Antichrist. “Obama is not going to die with the angel of death,” Green said. “It’s not time right now. Because … the Antichrist cannot rise up in this time, because the body of Christ” — that is to say the faithful on Earth — “is still here.”

I love that image of Obama directing the show. I picture Obama wearing a beret, and dressed like Cecil B. DeMille, with the boots and jodhpurs and riding crop. And he’s sitting there in his canvas chair and whispering “action” to Uncle Joe — or whatever actor is playing him. This is great, this ding a ling’s fantasy world. Kind of like The Truman Show, only set in the White House.

Green offered news of “covert operations” directed by God, insisting that God was plotting to put Trump back in power, and that doing so would inspire great faith. “I will tell you that no one in this world is going to say a man did this,” Green said of Trump’s political resurrection. “Everyone’s gonna say the creator of heaven and Earth has to still live. Because this was too impossible…. That’s God. In God, nothing is impossible!”

Umm….scuse me again, Julie, but if God wanted Trump in the White House, he just could have left him there, right?

Again, people give this woman money for this. I guess. It never ceases to amaze me. But Kenneth Copeland has several private jets. He doesn’t like to fly commercial because there are demons on commercial flights. And actually he might be right about that. I’m sure you read the recent news story where a Delta flight had to land because a passenger had diarrhea all over it.

All I know is that if these people are the ones who are going to be in heaven, I’ll take my chances in Hell.

  1. It’s always all about the grift. It’s how the right wing earn their money. They don’t know any honest way. They monetize lies by calling it truth.

  2. What is going on in America that nutbars like this can find an audience? Is it the quality,(or lack thereof), of education in the US, that people actually send huge amounts of money to finance this kind of evil drivel on a nation wide basis. It’s really sad, but also actually dangerous to the foundation of how America functions as a nation.

    • This religious nonsense is at the root of the divide in this country. Every Sunday and several times on Sunday people in church pews are subjected to hours of “the Biden” and Deep Stare rather than the gospel of Jesus. They stoke the cultural rage and rile up their congregants with stories of “losing Christianity and their kids”. And who do these so-called Christians believe, the real news or their “prophets”? It’s a no-brainer. Having spent years as an evangelical minister I know the power invested in the pulpit. It is why I am such a proponent of enforcing the Johnson Amendment. Mess with their money and the in-your-face political activities of churches will abate.

  3. This is good. In my life I’ve always been on the edge of religion. I have friends that are deeply immersed in it and I had to pick up a little to be around them. Now that said, this woman is cookoo for Cocoa Puffs. I’ve seen a lot of religious people and right up front she’s a natural to be hangin with the Trumps. If she ever prayed for something and it happened it had to be dumb luck.
