Look up in the Sky: Is it a Bird? Is it a Plane? NO. It’s Trump’s Diapered Ass.

On July 13th, Donald Trump will pay a scaled-down visit to the U.K. for bilateral talks with British Prime Minister Theresa May, in his first visit to the U.K. since taking office.  Despite his visit being scaled-down, one thing is for sure – the protests will not be.

According to nbcnews.com, tens of thousands of demonstrators are expected to march in various cities amid tensions over transatlantic trade and global outrage at the treatment of immigrant families at the U.S. border.  These mass anti-Trump protests have been a year in the making, after May first extended an invitation for Trump to visit the U.K. in early 2017. He was planning to open a new U.S. Embassy in the U.K. in January 2018, but cancelled those plans, along with his state visit after at least 1.9 million Brits opposed the visit in a signed petition.

One unique form of planned protest for his July visit is a 20-foot-tall inflatable orange baby, floating over Britain’s parliament.  Leo Murray, started a crowdfunding campaign to float this helium-filled blimp of Trump as a baby during the visit.

Murray, a climate change campaigner, said, “Moral outrage has no affect on Trump because he has no shame, he’s immune to it.  But he has a tremendously fragile ego so ridicule is an effective form of protest.”

He continued, “So we want to make sure he knows that all of Britain is looking down on him and laughing at him.”

Wow.  Even across the pond, they have Trump totally pegged.

The only catch is that Murray has yet to secure permission from London Mayor Sadiq Khan to tether the blimp to Parliament Square, although given Trump’s track record, that may not be as much of an obstacle as you would think.

After the London Bridge terror attack in 2017 Trump called Khan “pathetic” and mocked him on Twitter as the city mourned the victims.

Trump also challenged Khan to an IQ test in 2016 after Khan said that Trump’s proposed travel ban on Muslim nations was “ignorant.”

Looks like Murray has some more work to do to get permission to let his Trump blimp fly.  Hopefully he gets it sorted out before next month.  It would be nice to see Trump regret his jabs at Khan in the past – they may just inspire Khan agree to some blimp-sized Trump ridicule.

Karma can be a bitch!
